Quick reminder: Please ensure you post the license your work is under (preferably near the top of the posting). Failing to do this will get your post removed from the community.

(in other words: I'm getting too old to hunt for your license information so if you make me hunt I'll remove your post.)

Thank you in advance for making everyone's lives easier.

+Tom Ray interviews Mel, the lead singer from Santa Marta Golden about the band, their albums, and their future plans. Great stuff.

+Music Manumit is looking for a guest for Jan 8. I'd love to get a metal guest on because I love metal, but especially now while +Craig Maloney is on hiatus.

We recently had on Cory from Halo of Flies and Protestant. Thus far, I've been unable to track down other suggestions from the group.

Australians are usually easy for both of us. I may have to skip an interview with a European, but that's no reason why we can't do it. I've done a couple without +Tom Ray but he's done more without me. I'm about to email both. Thanks!

Browsing through Wikipedia for subjects for titles for the show I stumbled upon something I didn't know (isn't that always the case with Wikipedia?) Apparently Moses lived to be 120 years old. So the way to wish someone long life would be “Live until 120″ Which is apropos for the 120th episode ...

This week I'll be seeing Rush in concert for their 40th anniversary tour. One of the reasons Rush is one of my favorite bands is they bucked the trends. On the album 2112 they released the now legendary concept track “2112” which clocked in at over 20 minutes. This was despite their label ...

Hey all,. After some deliberation I'm putting the show on temporary hiatus. Reason being life is getting in the way of making the show you deserve to hear. We've had a good five year run and I fully intend to bring you many many more years of the best in Creative Commons Music.

Ever have one of those days where you just want to keep the music going and don't want it to stop? That's what happened with this episode. It's understandable when you have such great bands as deafheaven, Eschatos, Seal Of Beleth, Beastmaker, Fodastic Brenfers, KDC, Rebel Wizard, Envig, Azgard, ...

Ever have one of those days where you just decide to put your entire library on shuffle and see what happens? That's what happened with this episode. I narrowed down the library to just the Creative Commons Metal Music, turned on shuffle and hit “play”. What you're hearing is a (mostly) shuffled ...

Tonight was the Windsor–Detroit International Freedom Festival, AKA “The Fireworks”. Unfortunately we're also getting some bad weather in this area so they did the fireworks earlier than normal. What does that have to do with this show? Not a damn thing. But what this show does have is nine ...

New Arroyo Deathmatch. This isn't really metal, but might be worth considering for your 'and now for something different' song. http://arroyodeathmatch.bandcamp.com/album/hidden-histories

Ah the joys of computers. Can't really do a show without one but damned if this computer wasn't being a bit of a pain in the ass by filling up the root partition (and of course not telling me until it completely shit the bed in the process). But with things mostly back to normal we can talk ...

Some sad news to report with this episode. Apparently the album “Larks” is the last “Returning We Hear the Larks” album for the foreseeable future. But “Larks” is an excellent album comprising of re-recorded versions of popular songs spanning the career of Returning We Hear the Larks.
