Please spread the word about a half-time lectureship in Critical & Creative Thinking (CCT) graduate program and the Science in a Changing World track for a person with ability to teach online and blended courses that span psychology, conceptual development in math and science, and research and writing for mid-career professionals around reflective practice and CCT in general.  More details: http://bit.ly/CCTjob

The position could increase to full-time with additional teaching options if a proposed doctoral program in Creative and Transformative Education gets approved or if CCT student numbers increase.  This possibility, of course, can't be committed to in the position description or initial appointment.

Hi again (also posted in the FB group) - some of us from #edcmooc  are now in #rhizo14  - it's only just started - it's a great fit with what we've done before -and  'the community is the curriculum' - how cool is that?
Links in my blog post - be great if you joined us!

This week I sort of started two MOOCS – NovoEd’s Storytelling for Change and Dave Cormier’s Rhizomatic Learning: #rhizo14: The Community is the Curriculum. I had a go at both of them – and they do both look good. BUT – I’m o...

Hello, My name is Moise Cummings and I am starting an online learning site called Infinity MFG that is geared to people learning manufacturing skills.  There seems to be a bit of a void for this type of education in general and I think that online is a great vehicle for people to learn these skills, or at least become familiar with them.

I hope to learn a lot from this community on how to anticipate and address some of the issues with learning and teaching information on line.

Hi All,
I am new to the community.
I am currently working on a e-Learing project which is very technical and being the Social Media Strategist of the group need to design the way the social media has to work.

-The Social Media webpage is based on technical Learning in the communication industry
-I has sections and sub section where discussion can be carried out regarding any problem user face
-There is a blog for every section and sub-section
-There are influencers who guide user on related topics.
-The back end process have been well designed but I need to to create the SOP all front end procedure.
I request if any one could help me with this.

Regards,
Apoorv

I met many wonderful people  through MOOCs and it's really sad that some of my classmates cannot take coursera classes any longer. MOOCs unite people  from all over the world,  where unflexible law prohibits it. Please sign this petition for your fellow courserians and for the sake of open to the world education. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/reverse-policy-which-prohibits-massive-open-online-courses-moocs-including-students-sanctioned/dkpm2cyM

That is too bad, I wasn't aware that some people can't take a course based on their ISP location. I suppose they could get a VPN, but that would make things  a lot more difficult and more expensive.

http://blog.udacity.com/2014/01/sebastian-thrun-worlds-first-massive.html
