This means you should share your unique selling point during the job interview. Your unique selling point includes what your unique abilities are or what makes you different that the rest of the candidates.  Whether you are a Real Estate Agent, Executive Administrator, Librarian, Manager, Welder, Business Owner, or a Lawyer, you need to convey what makes you unique. This will set you apart from the other candidates applying for the same position.

How to Write an Online Teacher Resume or Virtual Tutor Resume

There are many things to plan for when entering the virtual education career - you will need to write your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile that is focused on an online teaching job.

Targeting your resume and other job search documents means your e-learning teacher resume needs to include RELEVANT, TRANSFERABLE skills or core competencies, which would create keywords to ensure if you resume is put through the ATS Applicant Tracking System it would be selected. This is, if your resume writing skills are strong enough to know what correct keywords to include. In addition, you will need to include experiences and accomplishments that relate to teaching in the e-learning field.

First of all let's discuss what online teaching is and the required skills.

Exactly like a traditional teacher, an online teacher must be equipped with certain characteristics that set him/her apart from his/her competitors. To be truly great in her/his profession or professional life, he/she needs to be equipped with a certain set of skills along with additional knowledge of his/her field. A great online teacher is:

Skillful and proficient in his/her subject and pedagogic capabilities like a traditional teacher.

Highly skillful in IT skills including but not limited to the use of online messengers, online teaching tools, internet handling, search engine use, and learning management systems. In short, he/she must be skilled in the usage of both synchronous and asynchronous communication tools.

Highly communicative and vigilant in his/her online discipline while remaining at the other end of the terminal.

Keeps him/herself abreast of new technical skills and innovations often introduced to facilitate online teaching and mentoring.

An Advanced Job Seeking Advice Book for College Seniors or those Seeking a New Career

Did you know that most businesses have set hiring cycles? Do you know why businesses have hiring cycles? Who will be the first one to read that perfect resume that you have created? Most of the time it will not be a human. Why do many job postings require a minimum of three to six months of job experience? What are a few of the key job related behavior skills that companies consider a must have before a hire is made?
As a retired business executive, I have written a career advice book, Steps to Finding a Job After College, that focuses on how to find a job in today's global society using millennial based tools and processes. While there are both active and passive ways to find a job, this book focuses on active. Moving to a city, knocking on doors and handing or mailing them a paper resume was the pre-millennial way of actively searching for a job. In this book active is defined as successfully communicating and navigating with job databases to secure a face to face interview using an online tool like Skype. The job hunting world has changed! In today's technologically connected world massive global corporations have operations spanning the planet and are desperately trying to recruit for their open positions using millennial based technology. Yet many career seekers are still hunting for jobs using outdated rules and techniques designed for a paper based working society. Unfortunately, the process of matching open jobs with people looking for jobs is still pretty inefficient  but with the understanding of how job hunting has changed and a lot of hard work, job openings can be found, applied to, and new careers started.
Spoiler Alert: One topic covered in this book focuses on some old common sense with a twist. A career seeker needs to create a resume that focuses on the person reading it. Everybody knows that, right? But what happens if the first person to read your resume is a computer? Does it make any difference if a computer or a human reads your resume first? The answer is yes. How do you compose a resume that a computer reads? That answer is in my book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Standout Book
By Amazon Customer on February 9, 2016
Format: Kindle Edition
As a recent college grad myself, I understand the struggles and obstacles to finding that first solid job following my undergraduate years. Even though I knew I have so much to offer, that first job seemed elusive for so long. After reading this book I have to recommend this to anyone coming out of an undergraduate program, associate's, masters, etc. I can only wish I had this in my hands sooner upon graduating. This book's insight comes from someone who has a deep understanding of the inner workings of the business world. Worth the read!!

Information technology resume writers may possibly be the superheroes of the IT professional’s world. That may be a stretch, but they do, however, have an amazing gift to transform the typical nerdy image of an information technology professional into that of an IT champion. In general, IT professionals aren’t typically also great writers. In fact, it is a rare IT professional that wants to write their own documentation. Luckily, there are great information technology resume writers out there to tell their story to those less technically inclined yet who control or influence hiring decisions. #itjobs #itresume #technologyresume #technologyjobs #techresume #programmerjobs #programmerresume #resumetips #resumewriting
