Split is the largest city of the region of Dalmatia. It lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea, centered on the Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian. Split is one of the oldest cities in the area, the city was in fact founded as the Greek colony of Aspálathos about 2,400 years ago.
This was a really hard one to shoot! It was very windy and with my large 100-400mm lens (150 - 600mm @ 35mm) the robotic unit was pushed to its limits in terms of weight and stability. As a result with an exposure time of 2,5 seconds per image, not all the images are 100% sharp. But given the situation, it was the best I could do. Also, there have been a lot of ship traffic, which leaved marks in the sea and which also had an impact by constantly changing the light.Important!:

This is a high resolution (512 megapixel) panorama composed out of 80 images, taken with my Fuji X-Pro2 and a 100-400mm lens @ 133mm (200mm @ 35mm).
