Is there a way to send out a "Private" Playlist of videos to Circles? I know you could with specific videos.

My profile page here, is "Lesko Danson" ......I have a YouTube account also, and was trying to put it under my "YouTube" tab on my profile.  However, I ended up creating an entire now Google+ account profile, which I named "Lesko Danson - videos."  This is so confusing.....When I went to the 2nd page from my original page, they offered to let me put it in my circles.  So, I clicked on Following.  Now I'm following myself......HELP!!  How do I consolidate this mess?

Hi.  I have a client with a G+ account that is named for their business and a youtube account that is named for the business owner.  They then have their original G+ account that is not a name they want to use anymore and the youtube account linked to that account has the proper business name.

I am trying to fix it so that there is one G+ account and one YouTube account each with the proper business name.

Can I transfer the YouTube account with the proper business name to the G+ account with the proper name?  OR what do I do to combine these accounts?

+Peggy K I was recommended to speak to you about this situation . I appreciate any help I can get.

+Awais Javaid If your YouTube channel is connected to a Google+ Page (not your personal Google+ Profile) you can transfer ownership of your Google+ Page/YouTube channel to your new Google account. Here is how you do that:

1. Add your new Google account's Google+ Profile as a manager of that Google+ Page. Instructions:
https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2380626

2. After 14 days you can then promote your new Google+ Profile from "Manager" to "Owner of the Google+ Page

3. Remove your original Google+ Profile as manager. Only do this after your new/current Google+ Profile is the owner of the Page.

Is anybody willing to verify my youtube account?  If nobody can, is there any way to verify without a phone number?

I have a Google+ user profile (signed up under a yahoo email) that manages our YouTube account/channel.  We have a separate Google+ user profile AND verified business page (signed up with a google account). We want the business page to  be the new owner of the YouTube channel so the videos show up on our page as a tab.

From what I understand, I need to disconnect the (yahoo) Google+ profile from our YouTube account.

From here, I am a bit confused on what to do. I've seen conflicting tutorials for this process on the Web, and am hesitant moving forward. Any help is appreciated.

Hi +Kyle Eggleston YouTube has been changing how it all works, so tutorials get out of date pretty quickly.

The first thing you need to do is make sure that your Google+ Profile (the one connected to your YouTube channel) is a manager of the Google+ Page you want your channel connected to.

Once you've done that, you can contact YouTube support and ask them to move your channel from your Google+ Profile to your Google+ Page. Use this form:

You should not lose your videos, channel subscribers or comments on your videos by changing your Google+ identity for your channel.

I suppose so, but you'd need camera management software to do the chroma keying.

Since the last few days I can no longer share private videos with my students and I can't figure out why? I have tried troubleshooting so many things but nothing seems to work anymore.  No matter what I try.  It always says it's saving the names and then it never shared my private videos.  Can anyone recommend anything to fix this?

I use Google Apps for Business, and my work email address has a YouTube account attached. I created a channel called "VideoBlurb - web video productions". I do not want the channel that has my name (Mark Palmos). I have already have a private Gmail account for that... so is there a way to delete the channel that has my name and just have the channel that I created for my work? It is annoying to click "My Channel" and always default to the empty, unused Mark Palmos channel instead of the VideoBlurb one.

Hi. Happy 41414 (4/14/14) coming on Monday!

This request for help might be "long" according to some people, but it all needs to be here in order for you to understand what my problem is and therefore what I need help with. OK?

Okay, so... how do I change which of my pages is the main account page, or in other words, change ownership between the main page and one of its subpages (which of course means they're both using the same e-mail address), so that I can then at least remove the unwanted page and not harm any of my YouTube comments and videos?

Okay, a while back in the YouTube, during the beginnings of forced connection to g+ if we wanted to still be able to make comments in the YT, I somehow ended up having to make this new g+ account, and your system kept trying to get me to use my real name, Mike Christensen, instead of my original channel name.

Several times I took the option of having it go back to using my original YouTube user name, "MaxxFordham," and then after a while it finally stuck! But then the option of changing your user/channel name came along, and I wanted to change it to "Maxx Fordham."

However, when I tried to change my user name from "MaxxFordham" to "Maxx Fordham," instead of that really happening, your system made me a new g+ page and a new YT channel called "Maxx Fordham." It also removed the video thumbnail that I had set as my channel's profile picture, and I had to go in and manually set that back up (using a longer process than before).

When I first tried to use the YouTube as "Maxx Fordham," I was shocked to see that there were no videos and no comments. But then I discovered that I could relog in and then use the YT as "MaxxFordham" and I was back to normal--at least there.

But then every time I tried to log in, I would get faced with the 2 options, and if I don't want a second page, that extra login option is annoying. And then now my original g+ page name/YouTube channel name and this new name have somehow changed places--I mean in such a way that the new name is the new "owner" and that the original name is just another page.

So sometimes when I click on "Reply" from my YouTube e-mail notifications, I'm logged in as using the new, empty channel instead of my old familiar one that I had already been making the comments with! Even THIS comment is being made with this new "owner" because I couldn't force the system to let me make this posting with old-familiar. WHY not?

I'm tired of that clutter and weird operation. So now I've tried transferring the ownership of my main g+ page--the account in general but with the new name, "Maxx Fordham"--to (or back to?) the subpage--I mean make them switch places back or whatever--so that I can have the "Maxx Fordham" identity as the subpage and then delete it safely (I mean so that the deletion won't harm any of my videos or comments over at the YouTube).

And THEN, now that, if I understand correctly, you can change the main page's name or the name of the account in general instead of just adding a page with the new name, that will be my next step, and I will change that from "MaxxFordham" to "Maxx Fordham." But first, how do I swap them and then safely remove the extra page?

I've already set "MaxxFordham," the page I want to keep, as a manager and then waited the 2 weeks, but there's no button that I can click on in the "Managers" window that will allow me to actually transfer the ownership. This is driving me nuts! So what do I do now?

Happy 41414 coming on Monday, and then happy Easter soon!

Mike

+Maxx Fordham +MaxxFordham You can change the @pages.plusgoogle.com username to a new Gmail email address if you want. Just sign in with your current @pages.plusgoogle.com address then go to mail.google.com

Just to be clear: your Google+ Profile (+Maxx Fordham) can be an owner/manager of your Google+ Page (+MaxxFordham). But your Google+ Page (+MaxxFordham) cannot own or manage your Google+ Profile (+Maxx Fordham)

That is because Google+ Pages are effectively sub-accounts of Google+ Profile/Google accounts.  If you sign in to your Google+ Page directly, you will not be able to act as your personal Google+ Profile. You will only be able to act as your Google+ Page.

If you want to be able to act as both +Maxx Fordham and +MaxxFordham, then you need to sign in like you have been to your Google+ Profile, then switch identities as needed.

(You should have been able to post a question in this community using your +MaxxFordham identity - not sure why you had trouble with that)

I need help with my G+ feed. all of a sudden, my recent youtube messages don't have a way for me to reply in the inbox, I have to find the comment in the mass of comments on the video. This is distressing because a day ago, I could comment but now I can't.

Is there a way to fix my problem so I don't need to be linked to the video?

Hi guys, this community looks awesome—so many helpful answers. I've taken a look through and can't quite find an issue quite identical to mine. Let's see if anyone can help me please?

We have a company account for YouTube (http://youtube.com/UnbounceVideos) that was set up before all the big changes using a generic social email address that is not connected to one individual. Now we have a Google+ business page (https://plus.google.com/+Unbounce) with a different owner accoutn and a number of managers but cannot connect it to our YouTube channel. Our current YouTube channel is not connected to any Google+ profiles OR pages. We do not want to create a new channel, we want to connect our existing one.

We are not able to make the YouTube account a manager of our Google+ page as it is trying to make us create a Google+ profile before we can accept the invitation. However, we do not want to make a Google+ profile because there is no person related to this account—we just want to connect the channel to the page. In fact we can't even create a new Google+ profile because it won't allow us to use Unbounce ____ as a name.

Can anyone tell me the steps to take to rectify this? Thank you!

Hi, I've been looking into this integration for a while now and need help.

A client's YouTube channel was created before Google+ existed. The email used to create the channel is not a Gmail account and is actually defunct. There is a Google+ Profile connected to this page that isn't being used. (The email contact for that page is the same defunct email used on the YouTube channel.) The client has a Google+ Page and would like to link this page to their YouTube channel.

Here's what I propose.

First, change the YouTube email address/login by setting up a new Google Account. This should also create a new Google+ Profile and sync the YouTube videos with that Google+ Profile.

Second, using that new Google+ Profile, follow the Google+ Page.

Third, switch over to the Google+ Page and make that Google+ Profile a manager or owner of the Google+ Page.

Fourth, sign back into the YouTube/Google+ Profile account and visit Advanced Account Settings. Select "link to an existing Google+ page being managed by my Google+ Profile."

Fifth, refresh Google+ Page and see the YouTube button appear.

Am I performing the correct steps? Thank you very much for your help!

Hi Jordan, if your channel is already connected to a Google+ Profile or Page it needs to be first disconnected from its current Google+ identity before it can be connected to a different Google+ identity. You may have the disconnection option at www.youtube.com/acocunt, but most channels do not.

If you cannot disconnect your channel from Google+, you need YouTube support to do that for you - they can disconnect your channel from it's current Google+ Profile or Page, and connect it to a different one.

But for YouTube support to be able to do that, you need to make sure that if the channel is connected to a Google+ Profile, the Google+ Page you want it transferred to is managed by that Google+ Profile.

The same holds true if the channel is not yet connected to Google+ at all: the email that you use to sign in to YouTube needs to be a manager of the Google+ Page you want your channel connected to.

The catch is that for the email you use to sign in to YouTube to manage a Google+ Page, it needs to have a Google+ Profile too. The YouTube channel does not need to go through an intermediate step of being connected to that Google+ Profile - once the email is a manager of the Google+ Page, you (or YouTube support) can connect the channel to the Page the way you want.

Does that make sense?

Specifically I want Google+ ( Auto Backup VIDEOS ) > Youtube

Currently It is kind of Youtube > Google+ Only
