There's a summary of the game on http://BlackGate.com (released 11/11), written by yours truly. It's more of an information piece than a promotional piece, so if you're already in this community there's likely nothing new there. :) However, if you need a simple overview to share with anyone, this might be the best one I've written so far.

An amazing true story of modern-day triage, and relevant, I think. Includes department layout.

Everyone can now save 30% on MASHED through Veterans Day weekend (sale ends Monday)! Just go to DriveThruRPG to see the discount on the core rulebook.

Also, any currently or formerly serving veteran can get a FREE PDF copy this weekend by emailing 'mark @ brabblemark dot com' to receive a special DriveThruRPG coupon code. No proof of service is required; I'll trust your honesty! (Please note that it may take a day or two for me to reply.)

There's a very insightful, well-written post (about triggers and personal PTSD when playing RPGs) over on +Ben Lehman's G+ page. It encapsulates some of my own thoughts on the X-Card. I don't discourage anyone from using the X-Card, but it doesn't work for me personally, which is why I didn't recommend it in MASHED.

Ben's description of the 'Luxton technique' reminds me strongly of +Avery Alder's original "Safe Hearts" (https://buriedwithoutceremonyblog.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/safe-hearts.pdf), which you may recall I abbreviated for MASHED with her permission. Safe Hearts was before the advent of the X-Card, which is why it appears in Monsterhearts 2 but not in the original.

Anyway, go read Ben's post!
