The city of Louisville has released an RFI ( Request for Information ) related to Gigabit Fiber to the door in Louisville.  I've attended 2 or 3 meetings related to this and one of the things that came from the meetings is this simple website.  In order for Fiber to effectively work, we are following the Google model and trying to identify neighborhoods with proper density.  It doesn't make sense to roll out fiber to a neighborhood of 100 homes if only 4 or 5 are interested in the service.  So, if you have an interest in ultra-high speed internet ( goal price is about $70 a month ) then please sign up here http://www.louisvillefiber.com/  -- all that is needed is an address.  The more widespread this website is, the better our data will be so please share the heck out of this.
