I am searching for info on the parents of my Grandfather Niles Hawver.  He was born around 1864 and the NYS Census of 1875 lists him as adopted son of Peter A. Hawver (born around 1833).  I found another Niles Hauver born in 1842 in the 1865 NYS Census, but no other info.  Most of this family was from Kinderhook and Nanticoke in Broome County, NY.  Thanks!

My primary focus is finding the parents and locales of the marriage of Narcisse Petit (Nelson Little) and Malvina Brassard in Champlain, NY on July 9, 1867. I think that Malvina was born in Quebec, and probably Narcisse as well. Possibly there might also be a link to a Nelson Little (b. 1807) in Schroon, Essex, NY just 80 mi. to the south.

I am looking for information on my grandfather Jerome Alfred Ryan, born June 21, 1884 to Thomas F. Ryan and Mary Ann Mathews in Jersey City, NJ  Mary Ann died approx. 1 yr after Jerome was born.  Thomas later married Amelia and they had three children, Sylvester V. and two girls..  Jerome was married to Margaret Doran, they had two children: Thomas F. Ryan born July 24, 1912 and Gertrude Jane Ryan born in 1914.  Jerome divorced Margaret.  Jerome no doubt remarried seeking any information.  Would appreciate any and all hints.  Thank you Pat

If I was you I would go to Find A Grave and 1. request a photo or post a photo, 2. edit the information since there is not a 'birth' date listed.

REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE: I am searching for some information on Saloma (Stoetzel) Bornheimer. She went by Sally at times, she was born 3/26/1838 in Kutzenhausen, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France. Her family arrived in New York, New York on 10/8/1850, parents' names are John S Stoetzel, Barbara (Seaworth) Stoetzel. One brother, Henry (married Saloma Rankert), and 2 sisters, Barbara (married Henry Buisch), a...nd Magdelena (went by Lena). Sally married John D Bornheimer on 3/21/1867 in the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lyons, and resided in Lyons almost their whole lives. John and Sally had 4 children, George, William Adam (born 3-8-1870), Daniel, and Clara. Sally died on April 14, 1876. I would appreciate any information on Sally's death, burial, cause of death, etc. Also any information on William Adam, he is the only one that disappeared after Sally's death. He was baptized in the EUBC on 12/17/1872, that is the last I know of him. Due to circumstances, I wonder if he had a mental disability and was admitted to a facility to attend to his needs, otherwise I would think someone in the family would of helped raise him, unless of course he had died after 1872 but before 1880. From the records I have many of the Bornheimers were buried in Rose Cemetery or Elmwood Cemetery, and the Stoetzels were mostly buried in Lyons Rural Cemetery or Galen Maple Grove Cemetery. I really would appreciate any help with this missing piece of history. Thanks!

William was 5 years old in the 1875 N.Y. state census.  I found this in the historian office while in NY July 13-21.
