This community is for those who cosplay at JAFAX. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Hey guys! I know a lot of cosplayers love doing more than just anime and japanese culture. I received an email today requesting some Disney  Characters, they creatively called it "Causeplay" if you are interested in participating in this fun charity event, please send me a message and I can give you more info/pass you along to this group.  The event is for people with disabilities and it is in April of 2015.

American Sewing Expo is at the end of this month. There is even a costume contest, which one of JAFAX's old Cosplay Coordinators is a judge for.

Hello all JAFAX cosplayers! I'm Charlii O'Deay and I'm this years Assistant Cosplay Coordinator as well as a cosplay judge. I started out with JAFAX as a volunteer in 2010 and I was also a volunteer in 2011. As much as I like helping out and working at coventions, I'm also a big cosplayer myself. If you've been to Youmacon or Shutocon you have probably seen me as Ash Ketchum(Pokèmon), Robin(Batman), or Louise Belchor(Bob's Bugers). I'm excited to see all the amazing cosplay at this years JAFAX and will try my hardest to be assist Robin and be a good judge. Let's make this a another great year at JAFAX!

Judges will NOT give pointers that would give unfair advantage, some people do not use Google Plus. So, Please do not ask.

My name is Robin Abbott and I am the new Cosplay Coordinator for JAFAX. I am a graduate from Michigan State University. I have been volunteering at JAFAX since 2009. In 2013 I was brought on as assistant staff for cosplay. Last year I was the assistant for operations. Throughout all of those years I have been involved with the cosplay events. From running lights and sound to making sure the Fashion show ran smoothly. どぞ
