What kind of credit card is good for a beginner?

I'm going to apply for a credit card soon. This will be my first credit card and I'm quite excited about it. I have not used my SSN for anything yet. Can you please suggest about the kind of credit card that will be suitable for a beginner like me? http://goo.gl/LBi5Ai

Apply for a secured credit card if this is your first time. You're required to deposit money against the card and the deposited amount will be your credit limit. A secured card is ideal for establishing your credit report. You can start with the secured card and continue with an unsecured credit card if you find that you can exercise financial discipline.

What is life like after you file bankruptcy?

Hello there. A few days ago I was on amazon.com searching for a book, and I saw an ad for their rewards card. I decided not to get it then, but I wnet back yesterday looking to get it, but this time I saw an add for their regular store card. I thought it was the same card, because I had already read the information about the agreement to the rewards card, and I applied for the store card. I got approved for the store card and then I realized that it wasn't the rewards card that I got, but rather the store card. Does it impact my credit score if I cancel the store card and apply for the rewards card? Or my credit history somehow?

Thanks!
