Picture is so full of life. Kids running for fun; midst green beauty of nature; and there are so many of them.

I felt like going for a run when I saw the picture.  #india   #burnlesspetrol   #running

Beautiful evening @eat street on Necklace rd besides Hussain sagar lake, hyderabad. We used to visit this place often for dinner. This time we went there after a gap of a year+; we had gone to a nearby park for the school sport day of my child.

Before sunset, the ambiance of the place was serene with the view of the open sky and the lake; also the place is less crowded.

Necklace rd provides a green belt - next to the lake, and hosts the #hyderabad 10k run every year. #india    #burnlesspetrol   #hyderabad10krun

Incidentally - I am also seeing lot of coughing around office. Around 80% janta is coughing with the winter weather change happening. #pollution might be one of the cause.

If I were to compare my childhood with my children, I have not seen so much cold/cough; instead we mostly faced malaria etc.; I don't remember taking antibiotics in my childhood.
More people starting battle against pollution in their homes

No matter what she did to try and protect her 3-year-old son from Beijing's notoriously serious pollution, such as taking him out of kindergarten, putting dozens of plants around the home, or spending huge amounts of money on air purifiers, Li Jing has had to admit that her efforts have been in vain. One week after being "grounded," her son started coughing.

This year has seen record numbers of smoggy days around the country, with at least 10 out of 23 provinces issuing red alerts. With no sign of the air getting cleaner in the short term, residents like Li have been forced to find other ways to cope with the pollution.

When I am tired or restless, I go for long walk in evenings. That helps! So far I have been able to stay away from frequent long drives to recharge self.   #savefuel   #india

Picture is by a Dutch Artist who plans to create a Vacuum like device to suck away the smog and give view of the clear sky in Beijing China. kudos to scientists who are working hard to give breath of fresh air!

but why get there? each lt of petrol saved will contribute less - roughly 2.4kg - of co2 to the air - we and our children breath.

Air travel for business is given. It is difficult to avoid. but with little scheduling - one can use the Pushpak airport liner for pick and drop to airport in Hyderabad. It is available every 1/2 hr frequency and has adequate luxury. There must be similar public - exclusive for airport - services in other metros as well. For example - Delhi has excellent Metro (train) service to airport.

Note - business trips are reimbursed. Hence, there is no money saving as such. but each such travel - you have contributed roughly 7kg less CO2 to the air (assuming airport distant around 40km) . That is awesome!
