Kya is an arachnid. She was born in a classroom around a lot of kids. She was born with 8 legs and has a cephalothorax and an abdomen. Kya is very little so her mother catches her food for her in there web outside the school. Kya’s favorite bug is a fly she loves to eat the little flies. Kya likes to play with her mother or run around there web. She is not bad for eating flies because her and her mother also eat the bad insects that try to eat the student’s plants. Kya has a lot of friends even though it may not seem like it. She loves to catch and web flies with her friends. Kya gets into a lot of trouble trying to catch and web bigger insects. Such as a praying mantis she tried to web yesterday. Kya jumped on the mantis’s head and killed it but she could’ve been hurt.

We're taking Remix, Remake, Curate on the road internationally! Our team and our colleagues from Charlotte are presenting our projects and the work that you all have produced to over 70 attendees of the Association of Science and Technology Centers annual meeting in Montreal. We're making bugs from leaves we gathered from the sidewalks around the conference center and doing some awesome rhythm circles with the attendees. Should be tons of fun!
