Our love is hard as a rock

The Bronze Horseman (Russian: Медный всадник) is an equestrian statue of Peter the Great in Saint Petersburg. The statue's pedestal is the enormous Thunder Stone, the largest stone ever moved by man.
The stone originally weighed about 1500 tonnes, and was carved down to 1250 during transportation to its current site.
It’s tradition for local newlyweds to be photographed here after their weddings. (Source: Wikipedia)

Taken just before sunrise at the quayside in Queenstown.
The TSS Earnslaw is a 1912 Edwardian vintage twin screw steamer plying the waters of Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand. It is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Central Otago, and the only remaining commercial passenger-carrying coal-fired steamship in the southern hemisphere.

In today’s post we find ourselves enjoying a leisurely cruise down Saanich Peninsula, soaking in the beautiful landscapes and the wonderful feeling of spring that is soon to turn to summer. This shot was taken looking over Brentwood Bay and showcases the best that Vancouver Island has to offer.
