Capitalisation in headings and titles

General rule: use sentence-style capitalisation for headings.

Sentence-style capitalisation is predominantly lower-case;  you only capitalise the initial letter of the first word in the text and other words that require capitalisation such a proper nouns (e.g. name of people, places, companies, languages, protocols, and products).

Examples:
- Planning a hotel network
- Requirements for Windows operating systems
- Creating Java expressions

Headline-style capitalisation uses initial upper-case letters for all significant  words in the text and this, as you would expect, comes with a lot of rules defining what is meant by significant.
