The 18th of January 2014 will be remembered in the memory of many off road Baja fans, but mostly for the teammates of El Martillo Racing, actually a NAFTA team consisten of Canadians, Americans and Mexicans who dared to challenge the major league of off road racing in the world: The Dakar.
Achieving the 46th position in the 13rd stage and 52nd overall, becoming part of the history for being the 1st Baja California Sur based team attempting this gorgeous adventure and making it real at the moment they crossed the finish-line podium in Valparaíso, Chile.
