101/365: Peace Lily

This plant is so forgiving. Luckily, it doesn't need a ton of water or light to thrive.

I took about 400 photos in South Carolina and they seem to me to be over-exposed.  Even though most days it was overcast - not bright sun.  Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?  Or how to do better?  Thanks in advance.

You might want to read up on the various metering modes your camera has several. I know it can be confusing but is well worth learning. For example when I shoot in low light I set my camera to underexposed a little. The camera goes for a medium gray but I want more blacks. A perfect camera exposure looks horrible but underexposed looks the way I want.
