We were talking yesterday about how so much of our future success in meeting the needs of our students depends upon how successfully we as a team (and in smaller teams like our grade levels) can work together- focused on student success, being honest with oneself and with one another, being venerable, not using excuses, continually looking for solutions, listening and learning from one another, being brave in our conversations, and truly caring for one another to name a few.....

Great article about home visits and the impact they can have. Loved the story about Huey; the team went to the family instead of bringing the family in to the "Principals Office" to problem solve. As I read, it made me think about some of the things we heard from Dr. Beegle on Thursday.
