Heuristic*, semiotics*! "The Long Now". Or Groundhog Day..

* Close enough for Jazz!
*Every picture tells a a story, don't it?
(Semiotics is frequently seen as having important anthropological dimensions; for example, the late Italian semiotician and novelist Umberto Eco proposed that every cultural phenomenon may be studied as communication.[ Some semioticians focus on the logical dimensions of the science, however. They examine areas belonging also to the life sciences—such as how organisms make predictions about, and adapt to, their semiotic niche in the world (see semiosis). In general, semiotic theories take signs or sign systems as their object of study: the communication of information in living organisms is covered in biosemiotics (including zoosemiotics) -Wikipedia
*The Long Now Foundation, established in 1996, is a public, non-profit organization based in San Francisco that seeks to become the seed of a very long-term cultural institution. It aims to provide a counterpoint to what it views as today's "faster/cheaper" mindset and to promote "slower/better" thinking. The Long Now Foundation hopes to "creatively foster responsibility" in the framework of the next 10,000 years, and so uses 5-digit dates to address the Year 10,000 problem[1] (e.g., by writing "02016" rather than "2016"). The organisation's logo, a capital X with an overline, is a representation of 10,000 in Roman numerals.
*Groundhog Day is a 1993 American fantasy comedy-drama film. Phil (Bill Murray), a weatherman, is out to cover the annual emergence of the groundhog from its hole. He gets caught in a blizzard that he didn't predict and finds himself trapped in a time warp. He is doomed to relive the same day over and over again until he gets it right.

Tao Te Ching - Lao Tzu - chapter 11

Thirty spokes share the wheel's hub;
It is the center hole that makes it useful.
Shape clay into a vessel;
It is the space within that makes it useful.
Cut doors and windows for a room;
It is the holes which make it useful.
Therefore profit comes from what is there;
Usefulness from what is not there.

As far as I am concerned, this whole political excursion is over. It just proved my original point; politics is so 20th Century. It has no place in my future. It is a pointless waste of attention.
So I will get back to my usual agenda; noticing and reflecting on delightful phenomena that happen to meander through my consciousness.
Compared to cave paintings this is high tech.
I marvel at the entire Technological spectrum.

Being the only person in this community, I guess I'll just post whatever random shit I want to because there isn't anyone else to tell me I'm doing it wrong. I can only sleep so much in the run of a day, after all.

Here be Dragons!!
When thinking of you some things come to mind. One is a movie, "Dragonheart" (Plot)
An English knight, Bowen mentors a Saxon prince, Einon, in the Old Code, the ideals of chivalry in the hope that he will become a better king than his tyrannical father Freyne (Peter Hric). When the king is killed while suppressing a peasant rebellion, Einon is mortally wounded by the peasant girl Kara (Sandra Kovacikova). Einon's mother, Queen Aislinn (Julie Christie), has him taken before a dragon whom she implores to save the boy's life. The dragon replaces Einon's wounded heart with half of its own on the promise that Einon will rule with justice and virtue. However, Einon soon becomes more tyrannical than his father, enslaving the former rebels and forcing them to rebuild a Roman castle. Bowen believes that the dragon's heart has twisted Einon, and swears vengeance on all dragons.
Then the movie, "The Sorceror's Apprentice", then "How to Tame Your Dragon"
Then every possible other thing in the Universe reminds me of you. So you better be very good or it will cause me great pain.
This is, of course at your discretion. I have become a master at using pain to my personal advantage.
Which is why some of my Super Powers include Indifference, Sublimation, Interpretive Magic. Every time I transcend another Ordeal, I emerge stronger and more radiant than before so don't be afraid to do your worst, (or best).
It's al grist for the mill, you know. I'm working on a Graphic Novel relating all these themes.
My current preferred media are Comics ,(or Graphic Novels). and Video Games which are Infinite ones for sure.
I am working on creating non-verbal methods of interspecies communication, which is ironic because I just love words so much.
As much as I love the material, sensuous realms, I also love the dry logical realm ot the Trivium and the Quadrivium.
Inside my head, which is a gigantic castle like Gormenghast, dwell the two Main characters There are only two of them, an old man and a small but very smart girl-child. They absolutely adore each other, and they have this huge fascinating castle to roam around together exploring and telling stories about.
They are never in a hurry because they are Immortals and Eternity is a very, very long time.

Perhaps you are terrified at al this and I can't say I blame you.
This Abyss sucking you into the maelstrom. Stalker. Predator. I guess so.
My intentions are pure and earnest and true but under my hood is infernal combustion power. And Satan is my motor. Hear my motor purr.
Don't be anxious. This is a "for the good of All" assignment. All contingencies will be addressed.
Soft kitty, warm kitty little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, Purr, purr, purr!
I've given up pretending to make sense of any of this. But, Hey!
