There will be no meeting this Saturday, October 18.  We will meet again on October 25, for the STEM Merit Badge Day, co-sponsored by Bloomington-Normal Hackerspace and WD Boyce Council, BSA.  Volunteers for the merit badge day are always welcomed.  Send me an email if you are interested.

If you haven't put your name on the mailing list yet, please take some time to do so!  Most major announcements are emailed out through this list as well as being posted on this site.

This week's meeting time has changed.  We will open up the space Saturday evening for anybody interested between 5-7 PM.  We are also looking for volunteers to help with some upcoming classes and activites, as well as people to help spread the word about the space during the upcoming academic year.

Stop by for more information!

Our usual Wednesday night meetings have moved to Saturdays!  Starting next Saturday, June 21st, we will meet on Saturday night starting at 6 o'clock, at internrocket.  We hope to see everyone there!

Our usual meeting for tonight has been cancelled. Our weekly meetings at Internrocket will continue next Wednesday at 6PM.

Thank you!

Preliminary planning has begun on a series of guest speakers and workshops for the upcoming summer months.  The goals of this speaker series are as follows:

1. To help people interested in a subject learn more about that subject.
2. To provide a place for the community as a whole to come and learn about tech topics that they might otherwise not get a chance to.
3. To provide space for people interested in sharing their ideas with others to hold workshops, seminars, ect.

We are interested in almost anything you can think of as a presentation, but to get you started, here are some examples:

- Basic Linux
- Building a Computer on a Budget!
- Applications of Technology in the Classroom
- Simple Home Automation

Members are encouraged to submit presentations here:
