I thought this was really interesting. I remember having American Girl dolls, and although I didn't know I was being taught history when I read the stories of the girls, they stuck with me.

I found this NPR article on parenting that you might find interesting!  I know that we explored how poverty may impact parenting practices, but even under other circumstances, we may not always engage in the parenting behaviors that we KNOW we should!
