So I just got back on Windows for a project, and I'm using Visual C++ 2017 with UE4. I'm finding that even with the recommended settings, Intellisense has been all but useless and the false positives dramatically outnumber the real errors. It's an improvement, but not a solution.

Does anyone have a Use-Case for why I shouldn't just turn it off?

EDIT: I've been coding for twenty years now and misplaced semicolons aren't much of an issue for me anymore. My chief use of syntax highlighting is finding out whether a function has been declared, as an example--which isn't much of an issue with UE4. So, those uses are out.
