Role in the team:
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Malware Research Engineer to work as a member of the Application and Threat Research Team.  This position will work on malware reverse engineering and Palo Alto Networks cloud based malware automated analysis system, Wildfire. 

Essential Skills and Requirements:
• Strong C/C++ programming skills. • Windows and Linux Operating Systems Fundamentals. • Experience with analyzing malware such as worm, Trojan Horse etc with binary analysis tools. • Experience using Reverse Engineering tools (IDA pro, Windbg, ollydbg). • Experience in security threat analysis. • Understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP). • Experience with python, perl, or other scripting language. • Experience using network security attack and prevention tools (wireshark, metasploit, snort). • Self-Starter and Team player. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience developing tools for automation and/or other tasks. • BS BSE in computer science/engineering, or equivalent experience.
