Hi! Sam Gilmour here. Just a quick note to let you know I've just released my latest ebook, Troopers, Book One of The Clan Victorious series.

It's a rip-roaring read, if I do say so myself, and I'm pretty sure if you check it out, you might enjoy it too.

It's available for your Kindle app or device at all Amazon stores.

My novel of Vietnam, Waiting For Willie Pete has been published. After many hours, much discernment, patience, toil and frustration, the novel is available to readers. Willie Pete isn't just a story of young men engaged in combat in a long ago war; it represents my statement about that war, and wars in general. I put my heart and soul, and more than a few tears, into the story my Vietnam veteran colleagues and I have carried around in our hearts for almost half a century. For those who read Waiting For Willie Pete, many thanks. Reviews are always welcome.

Waiting For Willie Pete will be published soon. As a Vietnam veteran helicopter pilot, I put my heart and soul (and almost 7 years of my life) into this novel. My fellow vets and I felt dismissed and ignored after our loss in Vietnam. Willie Pete tells our story in such a way that some of that loss is mitigated. I'll be anxious to have the novel out there and read, and anxious to hear readers' impressions, favorite characters, important scenes, and parts they love best. The book is based on my experience all those years ago flying in SouthEast Asia. Its characters are based on my compatriots in that war, and scenes are drawn from reality as I remember it. Those memories are as strong and evocative as ever. Look for Waiting For Willie Pete very soon.

'Waiting for Willie Pete' is a helicopter novel of Vietnam. But it could be about any war, with its confusion, obsession, terrifying action, and even more frightening views of what the human mind and heart can conjure. As Top Quillig says, "War is not on fields of battle. War is in the minds and hearts of men."
Look for 'Waiting for Willie Pete' very soon.
