Our real-time error reporting, logging, and notification tool just recently went open source and we wanted to reach out and see what the ASP.NET community thought!

You can host it for free yourself (instructions on GitHub), or host with us (small project/trial plan is free). Users have used it to log over 8,000,000 errors already!

We've had several forks and a couple of great pull requests. We'd love for you guys to take a look and let us know what you think!

Introducing #WebApiThrottle, a flexible rate limiter for #ASPNET Web API that can adapt to your business needs. WebApiThrottle component is designed to control the rate of requests that clients can make to a Web API based on IP address, client API Key and request route. Using the built-in ThrottlePolicy you can set multiple limits for different scenarios like allowing an IP or client to make a maximum number of calls per second, minute, hour or per day.

me too :) I actually used that structure based on feedback from the community. However, it doesn't look like that will change under the new maintainers. I know they want the css files to remain in the Content root.

Load documents from streams in ASP.NET MVC or WebForms projects with the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET library

In large projects, documents are often stored not as files in a file system, but in some other form. In most cases, documents are stored in a database and you can't obtain them as files. Also, quite often documents are stored on a remote server and are available through web services. The only way these documents can be obtained is through byte streams. This article going to show you how to load such documents with the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET library. http://goo.gl/8l1sOm

I'm happy to announce about my first awesome open source project called FalconConverters. It is very useful set of converters and helpers.

Generic - generic convert methods
Web - web specific convert methods
Configuration - convert methods for working with web.config
DataBase - convert methods for DB

Usage is pretty simple: Assuming you want to get userId value from session object, you just use

Web.GetSessionValue<int>("UserId", 0)

This will automatically convert existing value to int or will set 0 as default value.

Github: https://github.com/nevacloud/NevaCloud.git
Nuget package: NevaCloud.FalconConverters

Please review and give your comment or even contribute :)
