Looking for an add-on to integrate PS Vue subscription into my Kodi install. Anybody tried it?

Yea, I can launch it within Kodi using the new estuary skin, but would rather have an add-on that could then be integrated within Kodi. EPG integration would be even better. The vue app performs pretty poorly in my opinion, which is one reason to look for a way to bring it into Kodi.

Hi,

I'm unable to deinstall Kodi. Tried the normal way through program manager, after which I deleted files from local/roaming. Found a website advising to delete certain keys from the registry... There's one file however that I cannot delete. Ntuser it's called. When I reinstall Kodi probably picks up my userdata from this file and shows me Kodi exactly as I configured it, with one big difference... All addons are missing and what's worse, all attempts to install end up failing. So yeah, sort of stuck out here. Does anyone here have any clue? I'm not reinstalling Windows! Just need a fresh start with Kodi. Wish there was a factory reset available...

What do I need to install and config to be available to use 5.1 sound in HD series or movies which have 5.1 sound. My output is a spdif.

I'm using kodi on Arch, if I play and HD serie or movie on SMPlayer it play it with 5.1 sound (Dolby, DTS ) etc....

All legal addons are in the official Kodi repository. Get your Kodi builds from kodi.tv - Kodi | Open Source Home Theater Software.

Kodi for Raspberry-Pi  -

I had installed LibreElec 7.0.2 on my Raspberry Pi 3. (Kodi 16.2).

Two things have happened suddenly.

1. My RSS feed stopped working.

2. My video library is refusing to update. I am getting a 'Cannot connect to remote server' message. My internet is fine, YouTube add-on etc are working fine, so it's not an internet issue.

All user settings seem ok.

Can anyone guide me what to do?

Just noticed ... Movies are getting scraped. Only TV shows (using thetvdb add-on) are showing remote server error.

Hey everyone. I am trying to find a specific setting. On my home screen I managed to successfully set up multiple backgrounds. I would like to change the interval though. Now images refresh every five seconds, which I feel is a bit fast. Any ideas where to change this? Cheers.

Can somebody help me? I've been watching LIVE TV on the Kodi add-on Media Hub; but it's confusing me. Because the "LIVE TV" isn't on time with the LIVE TV on the actual television.

I've just been watching BBC One, on Media Hub, and the actual television at the same time, and the programme that was on, on BBC One on the television, was about 20-30 seconds in front of the LIVE TV on Media Hub... What's going on here?

Anyone using Kodi on a chromebook via Google Play Store? Works well, but there are some bugs:
1 - if you switch to a different app while a show/movie is playing, the media will stop and you will have to start from the beginning (and have to go thru the whole process of finding your show again)
2 - The controls (seek, pause, play) are not visible, so there is no way to navigate thru media.

I'm after a bit of advice with network storage.
I recently got a new 4K TV, with a Mi 4k box on the way which I plan to use with Kodi.

I have a couple of questions. How well does kodi/Mi 4k box handle 4k 10-bit 4k files streamed from a network hard drive?

My NAS I have at the minute is a WD MyBook live with a transfer speed of about 19MBps. I figure this is too slow because when trying to play 4k files from it, it buffers every few seconds. Playing the same file from my laptop SSD it plays smoothly so I know the Wifi can handle it. I figure I need a faster NAS which leads me to my next question, which one should I buy so I get a transfer speed capable of streaming 4k?

I think it's a transcoding issue with the TV media player seeing the NAS as a DLNA device. I'm hoping this will be fixed if I use Kodi and the NAS set up as SMB.
It should be here this week so I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Having no luck installing v17, months ago I had installed the beta version but had trouble with some add-ons so I went back to v16. Now when I try, after going through the installation a message says not installed. I know my security is set to allow side load. Using T95N Amlogic S905 Android box with lollipop ROM. Any suggestions?

Wow I finally got it. Even though my box showed 64 bit in opening icon, I tried the 32 bit, voila it's now v17. 😀

Imagine the freedom of being able to watch any TV show, sporting event or movie, no matter when it aired or was first released, with a few clicks or taps — at absolutely no cost to you — on your television set, desktop computer or mobile device. No cable plan required. No Netflix subscription needed. No nothing, save for an Internet connection. Would the convenience tempt you to engage in a behavior that’s not entirely legal?

XBMC, and now Kodi, has always had a Plex app. ever since the original Plex was forked from XBMC. This is not news Plex is not "NOW" on Kodi, it always has been.

My experience using both over the past decade and my search to finally integrate both of them.
Plex Media Server and Kodi (formerly XBMC) dominate the home multimedia space, more correctly Plex dominates it if you're just simply counting the devices each one is available on. I run both of them, but for different reasons, and it's been very difficult to integrate the two.

+Brandon Golway .. Emby all the way. When they were Media Browser for WMC, it was great. They have the metadata thing down to a science.

The Kodi add-on is flawless as is the standalone Android TV version on my Nvidia Shields. It integrates very well with ServerWMC for Iive TV.

Emby and ServerWMC is why I finally switched to Kodi, though I find myself using the stand alone version more and more. Best of both worlds.
