Mr. Tucker I would like to understand whether or not you believe in Rothbard's teaching of no governement, no State. I have been reading and listening to him, Von Mises and just read The Law by Bastiat.
It seems like these Fathers of Liberty, as I like to call them all seem to share an idea that eventually humanity will reach a point, an awakening if you will, where man will throw off the idea of government and see through the illusion.
Rothbard explains in detail in For a New Liberty how every facet of the state could be outperformed by a private entity with a profit motivation and I agree. Is it your opinion that we would be better off without any state whatsoever and if so is it possible for a politician to run on that platform?
The more I read, the more answers I see to the problems of our society. I am reading to educate myself and to hone my arguments. I do believe that government is a virus of sorts and that eventually mankind will become truly free by moving past it, is that a naive assumption?
In your opinion is there any relevance of the state of is it time to move past it completely and create a true free market society. I know what my answer is but I don't know if I am missing something. It seems obvious that throughout history, every state no matter how benign at first eventually turns tyrannical. Case in point, the current USA. Thanks!
