I'm back!  I was out of town on vacation for 10 days, and was able to keep up on my blog and message board reading.  Writing was a bit harder.  I also took time to set up a Patreon.  Seems like all the cool kids are doing it...

In which I take a critical eye to one my favorite roleplaying games in recent years, after finishing a year-long campaign with it.

I haven't played DW, but every comment here I read could IMHO be applied to FATE, too.

This is the latest episode of my Fate Core Horror (80s kid adventures) game! Elder Hollow. To hear it in its entirety you can go to our website or search "All Roads Tavern" on iTunes or Stitcher! We have 17 episodes of this game so far and 10 more coming down the pipeline!  We'd love it if you became a listener!

The newest episode of Elder Hollow is up! Meet our newest member of the All Roads Tavern crew, Isaiah! He will be playing the wayward boyscout, Skippy! He's just in time to face the stranger danger of the park rangers.

Remember, if you like what you hear, Rate and Review us on iTunes or Stitcher, leave a comment on our page. Got questions? Send us your questions!

Thanks again for being listeners. Remember All Roads Lead to All Roads Tavern, even Lost Doe Trail.

When starting as a new GM there are some considerations to make when deciding on which genre.

About this community

This is a community for players of tabletop (non-computer) role playing games. Welcome in! Talk away - so long as it is about role playing, it's all good. Try to keep your language reasonable - remember there are a lot of folks out there who are playing RPGs, and not all of them are adults. Have Fun!

Hey everyone. The other day I was fortunate enough to have an interview with David Lowry from +Club Fantasci. I was so stoked to be on the show! David was a really creative, constructive guy - and what's more he liked the game and the setting (could I ask for more?). So check it out :)

Two classes in one month, what madness is this?!

We're getting really fast at this: maybe one month we'll get three done. Anywho, we'll be holding another class vote tomorrow. That way we can let it run over the weekend and get started on Monday.

Hey everyone. Just a quick question: What RPGs are you guys playing? It could be one you are currently in a campaign of, one you recently finished, or one you are getting ready to start. I'm just curious what everyone is playing.

My current collection of system neutral oracles/divination/resolution tools.

Not including Everway fortune cards and regular dice (which GM Apprentice supplants) and fudge dice (which them Deck of Fate replaces)

Also both Mythic GME and Primetime Adventures printouts in my badass GM screen.
