We've been going flat out since moving here a few years ago, yet people still think there is nothing going on in Ottawa. I'm going to post some of the recent articles I written for apt613.ca and share other finds I'm making. Feel free to add whatever you've found. And checkinto apt613 to see what else is on ( no i'm not paid, and please don't use this community as advertising. There are plenty of other legit ways to do that)

My article is up on the apt613 website. Local Ottawa artist Christina Lovisa has an exhibit on until Oct 15th but she is also an artist in residence at the Orange Gallery which is hosting the exhibit. The building and the collections there are worth the visit. The area is also home to ArtIsIn bakery and a brew pub , so it is a nice little hidden gem to stop in and wander around. The area is also close to the War Museum, so you can add that to your day.

A new art installation is going to be on the Portage Bridge until July 18,2018. The creators hope it will draw the community together. The spirit behind it is what the world needs right now.
