Ten Years Ago.

Location: Wakanda.

Time: 12:00 PM.

The day it all the started, the day everything went to hell. The agent of Apocalypse, the former horsemen of Death as she would later be known, had but one job. To kill the King of Wakanda, T'Challa, as well the president of the United States, as they brokered peace between the two during a mutual meeting. Things would take a turn for the worse, as this mutants powers were revealed. Total detonation of every atom in the vicinity. no matter what it was made of. At first he was leverage for those with healing factors, but now, now his goal. His purpose was clear. On that day he was part of a coordinated strike, and the death of world leaders was high. And on that day, the mutant uprising began, lead by Apocalypse. It was quick, swift, and unstoppable. With his four horsemen he held the entire world hostage until they gave in. He was in charge. And mutants were the dominate dominion, but Apocalypse promised positions for anyone with power, no matter what the source was. Everyone had hope that the heroes would no give up, that they would rise up. But the second stage of Apocalypse's plan guaranteed that much. The leaders of each superhuman team, Charles Xavier, Magneto, Captain America and Reed Richards all suffered from a strain of the legacy virus. It took one year to cure. And that year was all he needed. That was 10 years ago today. As he usual there was a celebration held for his world. A celebration of the strong. Now the age of Marvels has ended. This is. THE AGE APOCALYPSE.

//Welcome to the current story-line of the X-MEN community! The world has ended and something dark has evovled to take it's place. Rogue from Age of Apocalypse/ Age of X and Gemma Atherton
She has aligned herself with the resistance against Apocalypse’s rule. A group tired of his tyranny over the remaining population of mutants. At the time of the attack Anna, Tony, and their family were upstate after she gave birth to their fifth child James Edward. Thankfully Tony and Anna knew something would go down and hid away provisions spread out across the country in various Stark industries locations; hidden away for a later date. As the years passed Rogue resurfaced to join the rebellion against Apocalypse. Rogue and Stark trained the kids with any skill they saw fit to survive in this new world. With the occasional run in with former teammates and of course family, keeps the family stay together as a unit. One day during a risky mission, one of the kids friends lay dying after being severely injured by a blast. He begged for Rogue to take away his pain by absorbing his powers so he could die in peace. She reluctantly agreed and gave the intelligence he had to the leaders of the rebellion.
After this event Rogue became the Reaper, her main job is the taking of powers of the fallen mutants and pass along any intelligence they might have to aid in the rebellion. This gives them a brief comfort before they go into the afterlife. A burden she lives with, but takes it with the knowledge she can grant them some peace. With the help of her omnipath 17 year old daughter Prissy, she can keep her mind stable from each absorption.
Her kids are now a huge part of the movement, Prissy providing intelligence, David making repairs to any weaponry or tech that needs repairing, Kylie and Mari guarding their safe house, and James helping his father behind the scenes. If push comes to shove the family will act as their own private army with Rogue in charge. Rogue never wanted to involve them, but she knows that every effort makes a difference, no matter how small or big.

Name: James Howlett. Known as Logan.

Codename: Weapon X.

Age: 129.

Marital Status: Married to +Elizabeth Braddock.

Gender: Male.

Race: Mutant "Homo Superior" (Human).

Bio-AoA: Logan and Betsy, also known as Psylocke and Wolverine were married shortly before the world went down, and were not with the X-Men during Apocalyspe's initial takeover. The two were in Canada, with Betsy recovering from recently giving birth to their two twin children, Scotty and Jade Howlett. Due to there knowledge that Apocalypse would only allow the strongest to survive, Logan's only goal became the survival of his family in it's entirety. He did whatever he could to keep the forces of Apocalypse from getting near his new home, which they had moved to the former Weapon X Facility for the protection of the two children, who from birth were already confirmed to be carrying the X-Gene. Of course this quiet way of living did not last long, with Logan unable to let his children believe that the fact of them was to hide while the world went to hell. In order to set a better example for their children, Logan enlisted the aide of his son Jimmy and his daughter Laura, permanently entrusting the name Wolverine to them, and Daken, should he choose to fall in line with them. And on that day, while his kids had reached age 5, Wolverine began leading his own resistance in Canada, which focused on silent or brutal assassinations of  his forces. Logan refused to take the name Wolverine during this time, and instead opted to use the name "Weapon X". While Logan only carried out the dangerous missions with his second in command, Psylocke, using his physic abilities to give them an edge, Wolverine's healing factor was permanently damaged by Apocalypse. He could not use it to 100% proficiency unless he gave into his berserker rage. With Betsy being the only one who can calm him in this state, it appearing is a rarity. He has reached out to resitances in the states, and is prepared to go global with their efforts. Except it seems the twins X-Genes have finally activated. Leaving them with a choice. Continue their efforts for a great pay off, risk their lives in a war they've already lost..or raise the children he's tried so hard to protect for them this, now that they have the power to fight back?

Personality:  Wolverine is a gruff loner who has a strong sense of personal honor. He also has a wild, animal-like nature to him and a savage, or "berserker," rage which he tries to control. He is also perfectly at home in the wilderness. He is known as one of the most fearless, brave, and dangerous men in the world, stated by Steve Rogers. Wolverine has established himself quickly as the X-Man most willing to permanently deal with their adversaries. He developed close friendships with his teammates Nightcrawler, whose personality diametrically opposed Wolverine's, and Colossus, who often performed the "fastball special" with him. He is something of a father figure to younger female members of the X-Men, such as Shadowcat, Armor, X-23, and Jubilee. He loved many women, including Rose, Itsu, Viper, Silver Fox, Phoenix, and Mariko. There are only a few Wolverine truly trusts, which are Captain America (Steve Rogers), Nick Fury, Jean Grey, and Spider-Man (Peter Parker).

Appearance.: Logan is 5'3, despite his short stature his body is incredibly well built. This is to account for the extra 100 lbs the Adamantium adds to his weight. Several parts of his body are covered in in hair, presumably part of his mutation. His canine teeth are slightly larger, also as part of his mutation. His clothes can and will change.

Powers: Wolverine is a mutant, a feral mutant to be precise. Because of this he has several mutant powers granted by his specific kind of X-Gene. These powers include:

Superhumanly Acute Senses: Wolverine possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. He can see at far greater distances, with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of clarity even in near total darkness. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing him to detect sounds ordinary humans couldn't hear at a greater distances, enough to hear a teardrop in another room that have thick walls with enough focus. He is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if they are well hidden. He can track a target by scent, even if the scent has been greatly eroded by time and weather factors, with an extraordinary degree of success. Wolverine can also use his keen sense of smell to detect lies due to chemical changes within a person's scent. These senses stem from, at least partially, his constant cellular regeneration, as are his enhanced physical capabilities.

Superhuman Strength: His natural strength is augmented by the demand placed on his musculature due to the presence of over 50kg/100 pounds of Adamantium bonded to his skeleton, which also removes the natural limitations of the human skeletal structure by allowing him to lift weights that would damage a human skeleton. Wolverine has been depicted with sufficient strength to break steel chains support the weight of a dozen men with one arm, and lift the 450kg/955 lb Ursa Major over his head before tossing him across a room. Wolverine's strength is enough to allow him to press just about 2 tons.

Superhuman Speed: Wolverine is able to move at low level superhuman speeds. He has attacked faster than the eye could follow and even Spider-Man briefly thought Wolverine was faster than he was in their first fight. His combat speed seems more enhanced then anything else, as he has frequently kept up with Spider-Man in combat, and blitzed people before they pull their trigger fingers.

Insulated Weather Adaptation: Wolverine's body is highly resistant to certain elemental extremes, particularly cold, to the extent that he can sleep nude in subarctic conditions with no apparent injury.

Animal Empathy: Wolverine has the ability to sense the emotional state of animals on a basic level such as fear, anger, happiness or pain. He can even communicate with them to make the animal aware of his actions and or his intent.

Bone Claws: Wolverine's skeleton includes six retractable 12-inch long bone claws, three in each arm, that are housed beneath the skin and muscle of his forearms. Wolverine can, at will, release these slightly curved claws through his skin between the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but the blood loss is quickly halted by his healing factor. Wolverine can unsheathe any number of his claws at once, although he must keep his wrists straight at the moment his claws pass from his forearms into his hands. When unsheathed, the claws are entirely within his forearms, allowing him to bend his wrists when they are extended. The claws are made of bone, unlike the claws of normal mammals which are made of keratin, and were originally believed to be bionic adamantium implants. Like his son Daken, the bone claws are sharp and dense enough to slice through substances as durable as most metals, wood, and stone.

Berserker Healing-AoA: After Logan lost his healing factor, he passed on the mantle of Wolverine and retired. Opting to focus on teaching the next generation how to live and to focus on the possibilities of a relationship. However because of this what little remained of his healing factor focused on keeping the Adamantium in his body from killing him. As part of the biological war fare raged by Apocalypse, Wolverine's healing factor was returned with a twist. He could now tap into it's full power, but only under his this state. Due to the growing connection between him and his wife, she is the only one with a chance of reaching him. Applying a reluctance to use this power.

Abilities: Logan has been around for over 100 years and in that time he has traveled the world and learned several very useful tricks:

Master Tactician: Though seemingly brutish, Wolverine is highly intelligent. When Forge monitored Wolverine's vitals during a Danger Room training session, he reported Logan's physical and mental state as "equivalent to an Olympic-level gymnast performing a Gold-medal-winning routine whilst simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head", which gives something of an idea of the level of sophistication and tactical processing Logan is capable of utilizing while in combat. He remembers Ogun teaching him Sun Tzu's The Art of War.

Master Martial Artist: Due to his extensive training as a soldier, a CIA operative, a samurai and a member of the X-Men, Logan is an exceptional martial artist, with expertise in Japanese martial arts, and has mastered 15 forms of martial arts, including Israeli Special Forces Training. His extraordinary hand-to-hand combat ability makes him one of the finest combatants on Earth as he was able to keep up with both the Black Panther and the Iron Fist, both expert martial artists. He has also defeated various hand-to-hand experts without using his claws. He even has taught the Black Widow, Rogue, Storm, Colossus, Primal, Sunspot, Armor, Jubilee, and Shadowcat in hand-to-hand combat.

Expert Marksman: He is an expert marksman skilled in throwing weapons and firearms, but operates more efficiently without them.
Expert Swordsman: Logan is proficient in Japanese sword fighting having studied under Ogun and the Silver Samurai. He was further taught by Silver Samurai on the use of the Muramasa Blade after his first fight with Romulus.

Skilled Acrobat: He is skilled in gymnastics, acrobatics and aerials, but is not on the same scale as other fighters such as Captain America and Daredevil.

Advanced Covert Ops Expert: Due to his experience traveling the world and working for various government agencies, Wolverine is also a trained expert in multiple types of weapons, vehicles, computer systems, explosives, and assassination techniques. In the Weapon X comic he said: "I can put six shots into a quarter... an' get change for the gum-machine."

Skilled Mechanic: Along with Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler), Wolverine has also been the mechanic of the X-Men's Blackbird jet for a long time.

Multi-lingual: A polyglot; Wolverine is fluent in many languages including English, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne, Lakota, and Spanish; he has some knowledge of French, German, Thai, Vietnamese, Farsi and Portuguese. Ogun taught him Japanese ideograms.

With his increased lifespan and journeys across the globe, he has been able to amass an intimate knowledge of many foreign customs and cultures. Once he saw a kabuki play of The 47 Ronin (Genroku Ch? shingura) and remarked how it was one of the finest kabuki troupes he had seen. His exploits have further endowed him with vast awareness of literature and philosophy.

Scott also has a plethora of mental issues, bottling up his emotions and refusing to confront his issues, despite this affecting him adversely. Being possessed by Apocalypse profoundly affected Scott, stirring up many emotions he had repressed, and making him question his life and his marriage.

After beginning his relationship with Emma Frost, Scott's personality softened somewhat and his confidence and self-esteem improved, despite having to face more hardships than ever.

Powers, Abilities, Strength, Weakness: Power Grid [141]
Energy Projection
Fighting Skills

Cyclops is an Alpha-mutant according to Apocalypse,[7] while Nick Fury's intel classified him as power level 7.[125]

Optic Blast: Cyclops possesses the mutant ability to project a powerful beam of concussive, ruby-colored force from his eyes. Cyclops's powers were originally believed to be ambient energies (such as solar radiation, photons, and cosmic rays) absorbed and metabolized by his body into concussive blasts that are released from his eyes. However, the energy supply of his optic blasts are later revealed to originate from a non-Einsteinian universe that opens up whenever he uses his optic blasts.

Cyclops's eyes not only are organs that utilizes the visible spectrum of light to see the world around it. It was erroneously stated in the first print of the Official Marvel's Handbook that Cyclops' eyes contain inter-dimensional apertures, releasing powerful energies from another dimension into his own via the beams. These later accounts state that his body naturally metabolizes ambient energy that is used to open and focus the apertures in his eyes. The energy of the beam itself originates from this other dimension. This explanation, however, was later changed for subsequent prints.[126]

Cyclops's mind has a particular psionic field that is attuned to the forces that maintain the apertures that have taken the place of his eyes. Because his mind's psionic field envelops his body, it automatically shunts the other-dimensional particles back into their point of origin when they collide with his body. Thus, his body is protected from the effects of the particles, and even the thin membrane of his eyelids is sufficient to block the emission of energy. The synthetic ruby quartz crystal used to fashion the lenses of Cyclops's eyeglasses and visor is resonant to his minds' psionic field and is similarly protected.

The width of Cyclops's eye-blasts seems to be focused by his mind's psionic field with the same autonomic function that regulated his original eyes' ability to focus. As Cyclops focuses, the size of the aperture changes and thus act as a valve to control the flow of particles and beam's relative power. The height of Cyclops's eye-blast is controlled by his visor's adjustable slit. His narrowest beam, about the diameter of a pencil at a distance of 4 feet has a force of about two pounds per square inch. His broadest beam, about 90 feet across at a distance of fifty feet, has a force of about 10 pounds per square inch. His most powerful eye-blast is a beam four feet across which, at a distance of 50 feet, has a force of 500 pounds per square inch. The maximum angular measurement of Cyclops's eye-blast is equivalent to a wide-angle 35mm camera lens field of view (90 degrees measured diagonally, or the angle subtended by holding a magazine's pages spread open, upright at 9.5 inches from your eyes). The minimum angular measurement is equivalent to the angle that the thickness of a pencil would subtend at 4 feet (3.5 degrees, about a quarter of an inch viewed at 4 feet). The beam's effective range is about 2,000 feet, at which point a 1-inch beam has spread out to 10 feet square, and then has a pressure of .38 pounds per square inch. Cyclops's maximum force is sufficient to tip over a filled 5,000 gallon tank at a distance of 20 feet, or puncture a 1-inch carbon-steel plate at a distance of 2 feet.

Optic Blast
The extra dimensional supply of energy for Cyclops's eye-blast is practically infinite. Thus, so long as Cyclops's psionic field is active (which is constant), there is the potential to emit energy. The only limit to the eye-blast is the mental fatigue of focusing constantly. After about 15 minute of constant usage, the psionic field subsides and allows only a slight leakage of energy to pass through the aperture. Cyclops's metabolism will recover sufficiently for him to continue in about an additional 15 minutes.

The maximum force of Cyclops' optic blasts are unknown, but a commonly given description is that he can "punch holes through mountains", and he has been shown to rupture a half-inch thick carbon steel plate. During a particular battle, Scott says that he hit Cain Marko (a.k.a. the Juggernaut) with enough power to split a small planet in half, though he may have been indulging in hyperbole. In the Age of Apocalypse dimension, his beams can cut through Adamantium, a previously indestructible metal. In the mainstream continuity of the Marvel Universe, it has also been implied that Cyclops only utilizes a fraction of the energies at his disposal. During the Civil War: X-Men story arc, Cyclops is controlled by another mutant to use his powers at their full magnitude. When directed at the energy-absorbing mutant Bishop, Cyclops was able to overload Bishop's powers in a matter of seconds. When Iron Man measured Cyclops's power while he was powering Bishop, he found the energy output was well over 2 gigawatts, larger than a large nuclear reactor. It is also stated that Cyclops does not use his powers at such a level due to the preoccupation he has regarding his control (or lack thereof) of his abilities.

Cyclops once fought The Hulk,[127] using a beam blast to stop him, refusing to let the Hulk take Professor Xavier. While it peels off some of the Hulk's skin, he was able to walk towards Cyclops and clench his entire face, effectively containing the blast.

Arcing Blast
As an after-effect of exposure to the crippling energies of the Phoenix Force, his powers seemed to have altered beyond their original state of being. In which his optic blasts, although vastly more uncontrollable; are more powerful than ever so much so that he can eradicate a squadron of modified normal and man sized Sentinels in one blast and wound powerful mystic entities.[128][129] A side effect of his damaged abilities causes his concussion beams to bend, weave and arc in alternate directions giving his blasts the appearance of multiple curving blasts spiraling around the core blasts make his new optic laser even harder to dodge.[130]

Spatial Awareness: Cyclops possesses an uncanny sense of trigonometry, in this sense used to describe his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. Cyclops has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to cause his optic blasts to ricochet and/or reflect off those objects in a trajectory to his liking. This is commonly called a "banked shot" when applied to this talent. Cyclops has been observed causing beams to reflect from over a dozen surfaces in the course of one blast, and still hit his intended target accurately. It is his sense of superhumanly enhanced spatial awareness that allows him to perform these feats as well.

Energy Resistance: Cyclops is resistant to the effects of his own powers. This is linked to him being capable of withstanding his brother's ability with no ill effects. This is a result of their close genetics, a quirk of mutant genetics that is common among siblings.

Expert Pilot: Cyclops is an expert pilot of fixed-wing aircraft, a skill he shares with his father. It has also been implied that his trigonometric sense improves his abilities in the air.

Master Strategist and Tactician: Cyclops has spent most of his superhero career as the leader of either the X-Men or X-Factor and has developed exceptional leadership skills. It is notable that regardless of their general attitude towards him, all of the X-Men tend to obey his orders in battle - because they know that he is usually right.

Expert Martial Artist: Cyclops also has extensive training in martial arts and unarmed combat, holding black belts in judo and aikido. His level of skill is sufficient to defeat six normal men with his eyes closed, and he has in the past held his own against dangerous hand-to-hand enemies such as Wolverine and Ghost Rider.

Telepathic Resistance: Years of being in intimate situations with telepaths have allowed Cyclops to hone his mind to the point where he can resist telepathic intrusion and withhold certain information from high level telepaths.

Strength level

Cyclops possesses the strength of a normal human male who engages in intensive regular exercise and hence is able to press lift at least his own body-weight.

Genetic Flaw: Cyclops is not immune to Vulcan's powers like he is to Havok's.

Power Regulation Disability: Due to psychological trauma and physical injury at a young age, Cyclops is unable to control his optic blasts. In connection, his eyes have become more reliant on the ruby quartz he uses rather than affecting change to the injury. Emma Frost has recently claimed the psychological trauma of losing his parents and being separated from his brother are primarily responsible for his inability to control his powers. Mister Sinister has also claimed that his eyes have become reliant on the ruby quartz sunglasses and visor, therefore making it hard for Cyclops to control the blasts on his own. After overcoming the trauma, he was able to control his blasts and open his eyes for a period of time. However, he gradually began losing control of the blasts and had to revert back to using the sunglasses and visor. His inability to control his power only worsened when exposure to the Phoenix Force altered them to an even more unstable and powerful state.[132] Due to this, his blasts are now flawed and can be either stronger than before or turn off in the middle of a battle.[133]

Recharge Intervals: Scott once required time between his optic blasts to recharge.[134] Now due to possession by the Phoenix Force coupled with internal tampering from Nanotech Sentinels the flaw has become more assertive than ever before, his optic blasts erupting powerfully one minute and then falling dead depleted the next, physically exhausting him in the process.[129]

Equipment, Transportation, and Weapons: Cyclops' Visor: The mask Scott wears to prevent random discharge is lined with powdered ruby quartz crystal. It incorporates two longitudinally mounted flat lenses which can lever inward providing a constantly variable exit slot of 0 inches to .79 inches in height and a constant width of 5.7 inches. The inverted clam-shell mechanism is operated by a twin system of miniature electrical motors. As a safety factor their is a constant positive closing pressure provided by springs. The mask itself is made of high-impact plastic. There is an overriding finger-operated control mechanism on either side of the mask, and normal operation is through a flat micro-switch installed in the thumb of either glove.[135][136]
A separate pair of lenses were also designed for Scott to use while sleeping.[137]
He also used "emergency ruby quartz contacts".[138]
Cyclops' X-Suit: The current costume of Cyclops is a variation of the basic costume designed by Charles Xavier, the Professor X, to their first and original X-Men. The costume (X-Costume, X-Suit or X-Uniform) was designed for body protection and ideological identification with the public, marking him as a superhero. Cyclops wears a suit made of Kevlar, which is fire retardant among others defensive properties. The uniform also offers a certain level of resistance to electric shocks, force impacts and others basic types of attacks.[138]

Cyclops' X-Jet Pack: A Jet Pack similar to those used by agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It was primarily used during his time as leader of Utopia

Cyclops in a X-Jet Pack

Magik's teleportation, formerly X-Men Blackbird, X-Men Stratojet, X-Copter, Cyclops' Motorcycle, Professor Xavier's Rolls Royce, Sentinel Air Transport, X-Factor Plane, X-Jet Pack and various aircraft constructed by Ship.

"Erik the Red" Gloves: When Scott used the disguise of Erik the Red, he was able to project his optic blasts through its gloves.
Muramasa Blade: Cyclops was given the Muramasa Blade, an enchanted sword with a piece of Wolverine's soul with the ability to negate superhuman healing factors. Cyclops received the sword from Wolverine, who told him that the sword was the only thing that could permanently put him down should it ever be needed. Cyclops wielded the Muramasa Blade once against Wolverine's son Daken, after he and the X-Men decided to kill him. Daken turned out to have been setting them up however, and stole the sword from Cyclops.
