A ball of hair in the room
So I wonder who is going to mention the ball of hair in the room first! It is there, no denying it, and it came off our coats, I am not fighting that, and most of it is mine, yes I know, I shed a lot ot hair, but hey, it is in my nature, Layla hardly loses ...

Two Cats Diverged
In honor of Robert Frost, 1874 – 1963)

Two cats diverged from a snowy wood,
And sorry I could not capture both
And own 2 cats,  I stood not long
And looked at one as black as mud
To where it scampered from the sun.

I spied the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better hair,
Because it was gassy and wanted air;
Though as for that the passing there
Both looked at me and didn’t care.

And both that morning equally lay
In gardens not yet trodden black.
Oh, I lept upon the first and found that day
That cats can bite, their claws can flay.
I doubted if my brain remained intact.

I’ll tell this tale with telling sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two cats diverged from a wood, and I—
I took the one that gouged my eye
And that has made all the difference.

So gorgeous! I'm glad its a life-time care facility, but wouldn't it be nice if he could find a forever home outside it!

Fun Cat Fact:
Did you know that cats don't use their voice's natural frequency range to verbally communicate feelings such as affection, anger, hunger, boredom, happiness and fear?  This would be inaudible to humans as this frequency is much lower than humans can hear. Some researchers believe cats may have learned we can't hear them in their natural range and have adapted so they can relate to us on our terms.

Life is more interesting now that we've added a third cat. Marie is proving a challenge to integrate with the others, sending me back to the book "Cat vs. Cat" for ideas on what the problem might be.

Did you know that our feline friends spend around 15 hours of their day snoozing?

However, when your cat seems more lethargic than normal it could be suffering from some sort of illness: http://bit.ly/PXMoVl
