Over the last few weeks I have been sitting on chicken eggs -- they are supposed to hatch next week. One of the learning outcomes for this project is to learn about live video streaming.

We will be live video streaming the hatching - the live view will be available between 9 am and 2:30 pm (pacific) from Monday, April 25 to Friday, April 29th, 2016.

Here is the link for the video stream

Proposed Changes to Vancouver Learning Network (online high school)

Basically, the school board is proposing to decentralize the school. The new proposal ( suggests that there will be a core of 4-5 teachers (from 20) and two counsellors (from 4) and the remaining block allotment will go to four different high schools.

What has been your experience with decentralization of your program?

What are the positive and negative aspects of decentralization?

Do you have any research to support or not support this proposal?
