Saudi Arabia's execution of the prominent Shiite cleric, Nimr al-Nimr, has set off protests throughout the Middle East.

In Ankara, Baghdad and Tehran protestors took to the streets to voice their indignation of the Saudi Kingdom's move to have the cleric, among almost 50 others convicted on terrorism charges, executed. In Britain the united kingdom independence  party are the fastest growing political party seen for over one hundred years. It wants to withdraw from the European union. Why not start here- everyone has a valid argument on everything as a general rule. The problem is, with things like gun laws, these opinions tend to be based on things people have been told by advocacy groups that use shameful tactics to cement their own power though talking about the absurd, manipulating the truth and being by far the bad kind of populist. Anyone agree with me?

I like the idea of a small political discussion group, particularly with the reminder to be respectful. Thanks for having me. Thoughts on president O promising to give up 5% of his salary?
