Hello Everyone. I am a grade 2 teacher in southern Alberta. The Grade 2 curriculum in Alberta focuses on the prairies, arctic and Atlantic areas, which includes the Ukrainian, Inuit and Acadian cultures. Are there any classes out there in those areas that would  interested in participating in a hangout sometime throughout the year to give my students perspective on life outside of southern Alberta??

Manitoba has now made the August civic holiday Terry Fox Day, Terry was born in Winnipeg so it is fitting for one of Canada's greatest heros.

Looking to do a Hangouts chat with other provinces. We are a grade 3 school in Ontario. Looking to share some facts about schools and communities.

Hi there,

My name is Lila Jomaa and I am a grade 5 teacher in Edmonton, AB. I am looking for a grade 5 teacher in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Lowlands Region (Toronto maybe??) to do a hangout with in a few weeks. Anyone interested?

We can compare and contrast ways of life in our different regions.

Hi, I am a tech facilitator for a school district just south of Edmonton. Looking for teachers in B.C. and also near the St. Lawrence river who would be willing to have their class answer questions (in Google forms) relating to the geography, climate, resources/industries and recreation of their area. For a grade 5 social studies project. Thanks!

Big thanks to Bridget Scott from PEI! Her class did a Google Hangout with our class today, and they were fantastic. We asked questions over Hangouts, and ran a back channel with Today's Meet at the same time. Both classes successfully guessed the other class's Province. Great experience!
