I recently discovered a super cheap, easy, fast, and professional-looking improvement for my pics! Bring out the white posterboard - only fifty cents at dollar stores! Place it in front of the doll while the doll is facing away from the sun, and it lights up her face amazingly. Want to see?
Plus, you're seeing this preview of a post a week before everyone else on my blog! If you like it, please follow my blog using the quick and easy button on the left of dollsnall.BlogSpot.com

Tip: Use the zoom! It makes a HUGE difference!

Hey, just a quick note - is it okay if I post several of my non-pro tips in the Tips from the Pros category? I'll note that they're the non-pro ones unless the mod says I don't need to!

I know I'm not supposted to share tips, but I have a really good one not a lot of people talk about!

If you can, take some photos of your dolls in the woods! There's just the right amout of color there to really make your dolls pop, and the trees help to block light. The effect the forest gives makes your photos a little more mysterious, a little more magical.

Some photos I took using the tips!

1. My sister put her hand in the frame right as I took the photo, so that's what the hand is

2. Sibling love!

Tip from a non-pro :) : I've found that the easiest way to get natural bokeh is right as the sun is setting and when you're at eye level with the doll, the sun is behind them or in the corner (see examples below).
