Thursday, December 10 - 3:00-6:00 - INDIVIDUAL AUDITIONS -- identify and prepare a 60-second passage from the script (monologue or dialogue) to perform + cold read passage

The full script of the play is available at

Good morning class of 2018,

On Wednesday October 14th, your class will be taking the PSAT.  This test should finish around 11:30.  Afterward, lunch will be held.  At 12:00, your class will be given the opportunity to work towards completing important graduation requirements.  You will have the option to do Community Service on campus or to schedule some time with a teacher to do standards remediation work.  Not all teachers will be on campus (freshman advisors will be doing Community Service).  Please check in with your teacher in advance.  Also, there are limited Community Service offerings.  Please let Ms. Keblinsky know if you want to do some Community Service in advance.

Ms. Keblinsky

Auditions for the fall musical Chess will be Tuesday, September 8 from 3:00 to 5:30 (to learn music and for the movement audition) and Wednesday, September 9 from 3:00 to 6:00 (for singing auditions). We will meet in the music room. Please go to MDIDRAMA.ORG for more information about auditions.

Students interested in performing in the pit orchestra will meet on Tuesday, September 8 from 3:30 to 5:00 in the music room.

Everyone is welcome! See Shanny for the bus... and keep this mind for when you are a junior or senior.  Questions? Ms. McOsker

Need community service hours?  Like working with kids?  Then consider volunteering this Saturday, May 2  for National Junior Ranger Day in the park!

It will be at Sieur de Monts from 11 AM - 2 PM.  Students interested will need to arrive at 10 to set up and might stay until 3 PM to help clean up.

Contact Cynthia Ocel for more information:

March Madness. It's on.

It's that time of year again. Literary Villains March Madness starts MONDAY!
There are TWO ways to play:

1. On Monday you will receive a link for the brackets (you fill in the ENTIRE thing). You have to make a copy of it and save it with YOUR NAME and then share it with me (or print it when it's full and give it to me).
By filling in the brackets, you have the chance to WIN AWESOME PRIZES! There will be a grand prize winner and 2 runners up.

2. If that's too much work, you can simply participate in the weekly game of seeing which literary character would win in the match ups. To do this, you just check your email and click the link that I will provide for you each week throughout March. It's SUPER EASY and SUPER FUN!

This year, SOMEONE who participates will WIN BATMAN who has been keeping us safe this year in the library.

Drop by the library to get a sneak peek at the Villains in the line up.
Look for my emails to start voting on Monday! Fill in the Brackets when you get them. There will be more instructions to follow.
Questions? Just ask!
See you soon @ your library!
