I wonder if Air Traffic Controllers use Windows 10.
Mmmm! that could be interesting.
Microsoft's software updates are notoriously annoying for a reason. This is just one more example of that.

I was hoping for an actual discussion of why PC's aren't viable for gaming rather than ad hominem. That's a shame.

Surface  -

So I have been using the Surface Pro 4 since it came out, main issues I have had were, touch screen would randomly stop responding (touch or pen), but I would just restart and everything was fine. Also, from time to time, the Surface would not come back up from Sleep and I would have to hard reboot (power + vol up), unfortunately still happens after all recent updates to accommodate Skylake issues, but rarely.
However, a friend of mine recently got a brand new SP4 and started using OneNote, both the Metro preinstalled one and OneNote 2016 Desktop application. Completely randomly about an hour into using OneNote, touch and pen inputs stopped responding. But the weird thing about this was that I could see the touch & pen inputs register on the screen, but they would not do anything in the software. The only touch input I was able to register was the Start Menu to open new apps, but I could not close them by touching the X at the top right. Really weird that I could not register inputs other than Start Menu button. Once I restarted, everything was fine, but its really weird, I have never seen this on my own Surface, but I dont use OneNote too much either. So I only assume its OneNote related. This has happened twice on my friends machine when using OneNote. He also has all current updates. But the big difference between my issue and his was that my touch screen just stopped working, there was no visuals that the SP4 was even accepting the inputs, where as on his, I see all the visual cues that the SP4 was accepting the input, but nothing happened, only Start Menu responded, until I restarted. This was brand new right out of the box after the required updates too.
Any ideas folks?

I got mine because I went over Verizon's heads with the Windows Insider Preview. It's an amazing OS in theory, but still has a lot of bugs. Fully working though I'd say it's the best OS I've ever used.

Ok, so is the new File Explorer icon good or bad? Because this icon controversy doesn't really help Windows 10 at all.

I don't really like it because they didn't do the same with optical drives and now my HDD and SSD don't match my Bluray drive.

Hi, please help.

I've tried googling, but so far can't get the answer except using third party tool (e.g. gparted, etc)

Here we have a Sony Vaio notebook s series 11.6 inch display core i5 (sorry, i can't remember the exact model number) with Windows 8 64-bit Single Language.

It has HDD partitioned in GPT partition style, with "C" (system) sized 50 Gigabytes

Our problem is, the "C" partition is almost full and we plan to extend the size of "C" by taking space from another partition using shrink-extend menu in Windows Disk Management. But we failed to do so because there is no option to extend the "C" partition, only succeed to create the unallocated space.

From my understanding after googling is, i have to use outside windows environment (like using gparted live cd), and re-configure the partitioning there. My concern is avoid to breaking the Sony Vaio reset to factory function and loose the genuine Windows key.

Please help
Many thanks

Thanks +Shafiq Jetha for sharing your experiences. Just for update in this topic after read at the Microsoft forums, I also understand that Windows Disk Management console is able to extend the "C" partition only if the unallocated space is contiguous directly after the "C". I can move the location of unallocated space using 3rd party tool like easeus but I worried it will break the laptop factory reset function since some of the partitions (like recovery partition, etc) is also moved. I better test this first in virtual box

Yes! That's as simple as +Pratik Made mentioned... Just copy the mp3 file to the "Ringtone" folder inside the phone's Internal Storage. You will see that file under the topmost section when selecting a ringtone...

Win 7 is lighter faster on any hardware it was meant to replace vista (read crap) give win10 a few yrs its also stable on highend hardware since it was meant to replace win8(read crap) n win8. 1(read crap over crap) 😶
