The July 2016 issue of #ISE magazine is now online! Read this month's cover story, "#Ergo Moneyball" by Davana Pilczuk.

"Creating a successful ergonomics program can feel like a monumental task, and many times we are asked to do a lot with a little. Studying the Oakland A's story and how General Manager Billy Beane overcame these challenges can teach us some great lessons in how we can overcome some very common hurdles faced when developing corporate programs and creating culture change."

Sign up today for the free webinar, "The Aging Workforce and Impacts on Ergonomic Design," 2 p.m. Eastern time Aug. 4, presented by GOErgo’s Applied Ergonomics Conference Committee.

For the younger worker, the physical capabilities for job duties are well-defined and have resulted in the publication of several design standards. Unfortunately, the physical capabilities of the older worker have not been studied as extensively, and therefore design standards for older workers are harder to find.

Blake McGowan, C.P.E., of Humantech will summarize the most relevant physiology research and the cutting-edge ergonomic design guidelines for the aging workforce.

This webinar is open to all. For details and registration, visit: http://www.iienet2.org/GOErgo/details.aspx?id=41882
