Noticed lately that some posts are going into spam and not getting approved in a timely fashion. I can't speak for the other Mods but I try to clear spam when I check the community. If you think one of your posts has gotten lost in the filter feel free to send me a PM and I will try and approve it so it doesn't languish in the blue and yellow can.

I can't seem to find this in the core rules, so I'll ask here: how do you change your focus in a recursion?

For instance: let's say that I translate to Ardeyn for the first time ever, and choose "Slays Dragons" as my focus. But maybe I don't dig it that much, so when I go back to Ardeyn again, I decide that I'd rather Abide In Stone. Is there a mechanical limitation/requirement/whatever on this?

Monte is approaching his 50th birthday, marking 30 years in game design!

On January 27th, we invite you to join us in playing games or adventures Monte created, from Rolemaster to D&D and Planescape to #Numenera!

- Organize your game on the 27th, whether at home or in stores (we have extra-special store kits if you can link up with a FLGS!).
- Post photos and stories about your events on social media, with the hashtag #HappyBirthdayMonte—that’s how Monte will see them!
- Report your game & get presents! Let us know who played, give us your address, and we’ll send super cool commemorative cloisonne PINS for you and the members of your gaming group!

Merry Christmas all!

This is an article about using nanites in your game. I think it's appropriate to "The Strange" RPG for a high technological recurrsion. As always, feel free to like, comment, and re-share!

The Savage Worlds sourcebook 50 Fathoms is now free on, usual price $25. This would make a great pirates and fantasy recursion for our favourite game, and is a great example of a sandbox plus campaign. Enjoy.
