More on using tilemaps as an accelerating data structure.

Today: how to keep track of objects on a tilemap, if those objects can intersect multiple tiles at a time.
When using a tilemap, we want to keep track of what object is in what tile which is especially tricky when the object can intersect multiple tiles at once.

Representing physical values in type-safe way can be a powerful compile-time bug checker and works great with multi-dimensional types.

Continuing my series on basic game physics.
Fluid movement of game objects is important to make the physics of the game feel natural and intuitive. There are multiple ways to achieve this.

Made a big oopsie in a previous blog post on LINQ Batch excentions (I made a big mistake, bad bug, many exceptions). Time to correct myself!
I was wrong. Pretty badly. Time to fix my code from a few months ago, and make sure nobody accidentally uses my flawed LINQ Batch extension method.

More on tilemaps: How to embed and map a tilemap to game world coordinates.
Tiles and game coordinates do not always correspond one to one. If they do not we have to make sure we can quickly and easily convert between them.

Starting a new blog series on tilemaps. All implemented in C#.
Reusability is as important in games as general software development. A generic tilemap class is a great example of a reusable data structure.

Using the same vector types for different semantic values like location and velocity can cause bugs. We can use different types to make our life easier.
