I periodically try to share things that I’m reading that are having an impact on me…this is one of those. Nicole Smart has written a great article. Nicole reflects on the biggest lessons she’s learned leading a startup a year before her 30th birthday. Character Counts: Decide, Commit, Succeed
This is aweseome and thought I should share it.

The primary quality of all leaders is the ability to make decisions. Indecisive leaders are double-minded leaders and they’re unstable men in all their ways. I do not share the authors view that here is a pic of 'pride.'  This beautiful animal is weighing his next step, for it may be his last. But he is not alarmed here, as the whitetail is not flagged.

Methinks there is a food source nearby, perhaps courtesy of the landowner, for a week later, this fellow was chops and steaks.

Still a beautiful picture of one of God's majestic creatures. In the end though, pride is not a good thing in humans.

Some folks do not care for John Denver. However, if there was an appreciation for this song in the context of his death, a different view may be held.

The gentleman who sang along side him, well, his work stands alone, but together this is an inspiring piece. The images are spot on, so enjoy, and pass along.
