We are students and researchers at the Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy Department at UBC. We are recruiting clinicians (e.g., speech language pathologists, special education teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists, etc) and parents of children with ASD to give us feedback on the content of a virtual reality gaming program addressing perspective taking and socio-emotional skills among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
We hope that you will be able to help us reach out ASD clinicians and parents of children with ASD. We would like to invite clinicians and families to attend in our project and share their knowledge and perspectives with us on the content of the virtual reality gaming program. Participation in this project is voluntary and will entail filling out two online questionnaires re "social stories" that will be used in the game. Participants will have the opportunity to give us feedback on the socio-emotional scenarios of this gaming program.
We are attaching our poster and research invitation letter. Please let us know if you can distribute it among your networks or post it on your board.
Thank you very much for your support.
