Online abuse isn't a good reason to censor the internet, and it's certainly not a good reason to hand over your right to speak your opinions freely in public, to a government!
Here's a good quote from The Catcher In The Rye that explains it perfectly -

"That's the whole trouble. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "Fuck you" right under your nose. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "Fuck you." I'm positive, in fact."

"I went down by a different staircase, and I saw another "Fuck you" on the wall. I tried to rub it off with my hand again, but this one was scratched on, with a knife or something. It wouldn't come off. It's hopeless, anyway. If you had a million years to do it in, you couldn't rub out even half the "Fuck you" signs in the world.
It's impossible."
Holden Caulfield.

You'll never prevent it. Everyone gets it. Everyone. You're not unique or special, you're not singled out, you're not important, and crying about it won't make you important, it'll just make you upset and worse, boring to other people.

Censorious, totalitarian, anti free speech utopians should take heed of this. People knew it back in the 50's.
Ceding control of your speech to the government won't make the world a nicer place, it'll make it a frightening dystopia.
What are you going to do after that, ban pens?
Then when people start scratching "fuck you" into the prison walls with their fingernails, what will you do?!
Cut off their hands? Pull out their tongues?!
The truth will out.

Turkey condemns Armenian Genocide resolution in U.S. Senate
Islamic supremacists cannot handle the slightest criticism.  — they instead just claim victim status and shout down their opponents.  The one thing that Islamic supremacists cannot and will not do is have an honest discussion and debate with their foes.
(Reuters) -- Turkey condemned on Friday a U.S. Senate committee resolution branding the massacre of Armenians by Ottoman forces during World War One as genocide and warned Congress against taking steps that would harm Turkish-American ties.
Armenia accuses the Ottoman authorities at the time of systematically massacring large numbers of Armenians, then deporting many more, including women, children and the elderly and infirm in terrible conditions on so-called death marches.
