Tonight's game is the final regular season game between these two teams. The Clippers won the first battle against the Cavs this season. The Clippers crushed the Cavs 113 to 94 on December 1, 2016. J. J. Redick came up big in the first game against the Cavs for the Clippers with 23 points. The Clippers seized control of this game in the first half, and did not relinquish control of this game. The defending champions are currently on a two game winning streak.

The Cavs have not determined the status of Kyle Korver for tonight's game against the Jazz. Korver did not play in the last four games due to a sore left foot. Kevin Love most likely will not play in tonight's game against the Cavs. Love has been recovering from surgery on his left knee. Love could return to action as early as this upcoming road trip for the Cavs. Korver and Love practiced with their team on Wednesday.

The Cavs are fresh off their blow out victory 128 to 96 against the Pistons on Tuesday night. Both James and Irving got to rest in the fourth quarter of this game.

The Cavs need to come sharp on defense to start the game. On Tuesday's night game against the Pistons, the Cavs played defense. Defense allowed the Cavs to prevent the Pistons from scoring. Defensive stops allowed the Cavs to score easy baskets in transition. The easy baskets helped the Cavs get into a flow on offense.
