Important note: I will be moving away from using this Google+ community for "reddit is fun" beta testing.

The beta program will continue. Please post beta issues in /r/redditisfun instead. Thank you to all beta participants!

When you say the beta program will continue, does that mean the existing Play Store delivery method for beta versions will remain in place?

Edit: never mind, http://www.droid-life.com/2015/07/30/android-developers-get-two-new-ways-to-beta-test-apps/ answered my question.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but certain links from various websites have ads that redirect after about 10 seconds. If I go to the link in Chrome, the ads don't show up. Any idea what is up with that? I have golden platinum on Nexus 5 with Android 5.1

Can I get an invite to one of the pre-release programs?

Also why is /r/redditthemes private?

Bug with Imgur.
Imgur links used to bring me to a mobile version.
They now bring me to the desktop version.
Is this standard now?

Thanks.
It works fine on an older version of "reddit is fun" on my tablet though.

A feature that works like Reddit Enhancement Suite's usertags would make me so happy. I have a list with 10,000+ users tagged I would love to be able to use on mobile.

I'm having a strange issue where the app forgets my login. I have my login saved and all appropriate checkboxes are selected, too. This seemed to happen recently when i reinstalled on my replacement VZW Galaxy S5 on KitKat.

Thanks for the link. I can't believe a bug of this magnitude has been allowed to go on like this. In the meantime I'm doing the Titanium Backup trick and it has so far stuck through a single reboot. Time will tell if it will continue to work. Of course I'll have to do this again on the next update. It might have been fixed in Lollipop but at this point I'm refusing to upgrade.

One of the less glamorous improvements to Android 5.0 Lollipop is the move to updating WebView via the Play Store rather than only with system updates. Web... by Ryan Whitwam in Applications, Lollipop 5.0/5.1, News

Bug Report  -

There is a bug with the recent imgur html5 integration in reddit is fun on the HTC One M8. I'm not sure if this problem extends to other platforms, as I've only experienced it personally.

Any time I follow a .gifv link in app on my HTC One M8, it causes a crash. Not just of the app, but my phone stalls and is forced to restart.

I hope to see a fix for this soon! I really love this app!

Hi, this is caused by Google's bug in their latest Android System WebView update. Their bug affects all apps using WebView, causing random crashing and hangs.

Some users had luck fixing the bug, by uninstalling the Android System WebView update via the Play Store.

The Google WebView team have confirmed the bug and are working hard on a fix. It is currently out of my hands.

Bug Report  -

So issue and feature request for this awesome app that uses all my data. In a good way

Bug:
When loading the app it errors out on the front page. This is regardless of wifi or 3g. The only to get the front to load is to load a subreddit and then go back. This is 100% reproducible on Nexus 5 with Liquid Smooth rom, latest nightly that is non lollipop.

Feature Request:
Subreddit filters should be account based. Case:

I have r/gender_diverse_topic subscribed on two accounts. In the app the account u/A_traceable_name was first and is the normal username, so sets the filters are set to remove gender ZED. On u/non_traceable, the user posts and is of gender ZED, who is on the same device and app. This now makes it so u/non_traceable can not actually see any of their own posts or any replies. This us because of the filtering setup that does not benefit u/non_traceable.

This is just one use case, there are probably more out there.

If you need more details please let me know.
