"Trump threatens the nuclear annihilation of North Korea, but the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will not blink. ...The combined military force of Chinese volunteers and North Korean military units and guerrillas evicted U.S. and allied troops from North Korea and drove them south of the 38th parallel. Thus, the Korean war constituted the first military defeat for U.S. imperialism, followed 20 years later by its defeat in Vietnam. The DPRK has offered a way out of the current crisis, stating that it would suspend nuclear weapons and long-range missile tests if the U.S. and South Korea cease their massive military maneuvers, and the United States signs a peace treaty ending the Korean war." - https://www.liberationnews.org

"The U.S. started the nuclear arms race, and is the only country to have ever used these fearsome weapons...What terrible hypocrisy that these nuclear powers should accuse the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) of being “irrational” and “aggressive” for seeking its own nuclear deterrent! ....“The DPRK’s access to the strongest nuclear force is a fair and legitimate measure for self-defense to protect the country’s sovereignty and the nation’s right to existence from the high-handed and arbitrary acts of the U.S. … " - http://iacenter.org

Not only was there no reason for us to invade Iraq, there is definitely no reason for us to still be there. There is no logic to attacking a people, as covered in this article, to remove an organization called the Islamic State that is fighting against an occupying force that invaded a country where Islam is the main religion. Nothing is being accomplished. There are no goals to accomplish. It is insane that all these innocent people have to die for no reason. It is a mass serial killing in Iraq, Syria, Yemen....

Hidden cost of war. It is another outsourcing of a country's wealth. Instead of paying healthcare for homeless children in America, we are financing the killing of children in other countries.

Malcolm X el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz - The Lesser of Two Evil of the 1964 presidential election. There was no lesser. There were equal in their evil. Think about this in considering of the past election. Who was the fox and who was the wolf?

Malcolm X lost his FBI protection when he spoke against the Vietnam War. Dr. Martin Luther King lost his life shortly after presenting his greatest speech, "Why I Am Opposed to the War in Vietnam."

LIVE: The People's Tribunal on the Iraq War

After 14 years of costly war based on lies, it's time for truth and accountability. The People's Tribunal on the Iraq War will unify the global anti-war/peace movements with other justice movements by uplifting testimonies of the costs of this war - and war itself. The Tribunal will bring the lies that created the war on Iraq into public awareness, while demanding Obama act on them. It will build and inspire the anti-war movement that we will need after the inauguration of the next administration in 2017. It will be a tool that all groups can use to build, inspire, and enliven their organizations and communities.
