Humble Bundle are doing a Dynamite comics package. The $1 level includes a preview (dunno how many pages) of "Army of Darkness vs Bubba Ho Tep". The blurb, at least, suggests that the comic will be a sequel to the Elvis movie (and on that subject, both Lansdale's vampire prequel - in a cheaper edition than in the past - and the collected comic adaptation are published next month)

There's a clickbait article over on bleedingcool.com saying that the new Buffy comic may possibly cross over with an unspecified other Josh Whedon series.

That all-inclusive GHOSTBUSTERS timeline I've been working on is now on hold until the new movie comes out, or at least more details are revealed.

I watched both films based on Archie Comics, Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again and The Archies in Jugman. One was a live action TV movie about an adult Archie’s 15 year reunion and the other was an animated TV movie about Jughead’s caveman ancestor thawing out in the present. But both involved a subplot where Reggie is trying to put Pop’s Soda Shoppe out of business. Reggie is such a dick.

The opening to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders implies that many Batman comics of the 40s and 50s happened in the Batman 66 universe.

Celebrity crossovers again: I'm watching Richie Rich, which has an appearance of Reggie Jackson as himself. Reggie Jackson has played himself a number of times, including in the Love Boat, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad, MacGyver, Richie Rich, Bad Day on the Block, BASEketball, Summer of Sam, and the Benchwarmers.

Saw Aquaman tonight. A fun movie.

Elf the Musical. Watching it now. It's definitely based on the book written by Buddy Hobbs, which he based on his real life exploits. There are a lot of contradictions in the story.
