Hi everyone, new member here. I recently tried to join two rpg forums but was only successful on one of them. I wanted to join the OD&D Discussion board, because down in the ""Third Party" and Non-TSR Classics" forum the was a Powers & Perils post in which the global mod seemed to be a fan and I thought that I could post my stuff there. But although I registered, I was not approved. I also registered at The Ruins of Murkhill board and after I had done some general posting to establish myself, I sent a pm to the admin asking if I could post a ton of links regarding Powers & Perils, possibly in a sub-forum. After sharing more about what I had in mind, he kindly created a place for it to go.

There are now eight threads of links that I have collected to Powers & Perils information from many sources including the excellent Mesmerized by sirens blog. There are a total of 34 links including a link to this community.

I hope this will be useful to someone.

In section 5.5, book I it's written " If the skill that the Referee chooses to apply is a Combat Skill, the CDF that is used is as listed in table 5.3.

Looking at the table, on the line "DIFFICULT" we find CDF4.

I think that from this premise we can infer that any creature (in the book III) with a CDF factor of 4 or more must be considered a difficult one for the players to fight with. Don't you agree?

I mean, from this simple optional rule the author suggested (maybe unwillingly) an entire system for the game master to evaluate the impact of creatures to throw at player characters.

Now i know that if at the end of my adventure i want my characters to fight with "the big enemy", it must be at least a CDF 4 enemy, otherwise the players are going to defeat it too easily.
