Their are just some days when phew... I am bored mum (she was close by) can't we go out on a hunt.. It was the feeling I got from this small lion cub (Panthera leo) when I photographed it in South Africa's 'Timbavati' game reserve.

Fact: Lion cubs are often prone to 'infanticide' which involves the killing of unrelated young offspring by any new dominant male lion which comes to the pride and removes the old dominant male, often in fatal fights., thereby enabling him to impregnate the pride females again to ensure they raise his heirs and his gene's live on..
