Men's Breakfast was awesome! Thanks to everyone who came and hung out. Let's continue meeting together and encouraging one another in our walk with God.

If you are questioning your faith or Gods will, remember Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." And watch Kirk Cameron's documentary, "unstoppable". It is a must see! The link to the trailer is posted above. I recently watched it on Netflix. It is amazing, motivating, and convicting. I will definitely be showing it to many people.

God bless!

"Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ...for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works" -Psalm 73:23-28.

Just read this, and it gave me the boost I needed to start my day right. I desire nothing on earth except you Lord! "...that I may tell of all your works!" Is God your refuge? Your only desire? Is He what strengthens your heart? Do you consider Him your portion forever? And do you tell those around you about all His works?

Here's something to chew on... Let's get away from our skewed view of laid back Christianity and let's start making disciples!

I reviewed this memory verse this morning. God explaining to Israel that there king must keep his own copy of the scriptures (this Law) and read it, not just for a period in time, but for his entire lifetime! And that he should obey His commandments, and not just some, but all of them. I'm sure Jesus expects no less. So I thought, "what better way to keep God's word than to memorize it and meditate on them?" I mean, Jesus memorized scripture. He quotes it all the time, and it's so hard to obey God's Word when we don't know it. I just want to be like Jesus!

Excited to see Laborers in the Harvest! Will be praying for growth and refining.

1 Corinthians 15:9-10 " For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me."

I know that I, like Paul, "am what I am" (a disciple of Jesus, and son of God) only by God's grace. And I am also aware that like Paul, I am not worthy to be called His disciple. Where I am lacking is in Paul's conviction to work harder than anyone else in order to attain to "the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14). Paul, unlike myself and many other believers today, had a deep sense of gratitude toward God that shone through his obedience, passion and commitment to Christ and the Kingdom of God. So I have to ask myself the question: will I allow God's grace toward me to be in vain? Or am I willing to follow Paul's example of faith and do everything I must to attain the righteousness God has called me to?
