This is a picture of me and some of my closest friends. We've all been friends since middle school but my best friend Kaelyn (I'm on her back and we're on the left) and I have been friends since second grade. The four of us became super close in student council in 10th grade and became known as "The Creepers" because we used to follow our student council advisor around. This picture was taken on the last day of school at the senior picnic. I love it because it shows just how fun my friends and I really are. My instagram is daniellakeith99

After orientation, my family will be driving down to Boca Raton, FL. Although the 18 hour drive won't be stellar, I look forward to spending time on nice beaches in hot weather. After two weeks of that, we will be coming back to CT, where I will continue to babysit. Outside of that, my summer vacation mostly consists of Netflix (currently watching House of Cards) and working small jobs.

I have decided to come to Boston University for many reasons, but I'll just name a few. Coming from a small suburban town in CT, I knew that this next step in my life had to take me somewhere I can interact with people of different cultures. The diverse student body at BU and the university's location mean that I can meet unique people. BU's prestige in education, especially medical, was another major incentive for me to attend the university. One of the most crucial parts of a college education is the actual learning of new knowledge, (crazy right?) whether it be inside or outside of the classroom. I know that attending BU will not be easy, but I am excited to take on the challenges and new experiences that it will bring!

Packed and ready to go!
Photo

I'm really late because I just got home from camp, but I'd still like to introduce myself.
I'm Daniella and I'm from Detroit, Michigan. I'm going to Questrom and plan on studying business administration with a concentration in law. I love sleeping, reading, shopping, camping, and, of course, my friends. My favorite bands are Panic! and Fall Out Boy, but I'll listen to pretty much anything. I'm currently binge watching Grey's Anatomy and I absolutely love The Bachelor/The Bachelorette. I love being social and going on adventures and I can't wait to meet you all!

The last challenge is Getting Rhetty! Are you packing for orientation? Already here? Post a picture of your bags, the plane, or campus! Snap a pic of the dorm room to show fellow terriers what it looks like! Anything you're doing in preparation for starting orientation? We can't wait to see you soon!

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm super late but my name is Tara Dougherty and I'm from Bristol, Pennsylvania. I'm a vocal performance major in the college of fine arts and I am really excited to meet you all at orientation! I love all things music, theatre, reading, shopping, traveling, and hanging out with friends. I'm excited to soon be a BU terrier and get to explore the beautiful city of Boston. See you all at orientation!
